On the highest floor of the Blue Moon Palace, the most luxurious hotel in the entire city, two individuals walked into the royal suite they booked and closed the door behind them.
The couple were strikingly beautiful, wearing elegant evening clothes that accentuated their appearances. The man was tall, with midnight black hair and an angular face that made him appear like an actor. He had a pair of calm blue eyes that seemed to shine under the faint light of the chandelier hanging from the wall.
He had a lean yet muscular build and a very strong yet assuring aura that seemed to put everyone around him in a relaxed state without him doing anything.
The woman, on the other hand, was drop-dead gorgeous with a figure that would make any man go crazy. She had long blonde hair and a pair of hypnotizing green eyes. She had an alluring smile on her face that seemed to almost shine on its own.
Walking inside, the man slowly approached the couch and sat down before he opened up the first few buttons of his shirt to breathe. Cranking his neck, he made himself comfortable while the woman looked at him.
"Are you tired, honey?" She asked as she approached him and slowly put her hands on both sides of the chair, caging him in. "The night has only started~" She added as she licked her plump red lips.
The man looked at her for a moment before he smiled. "Who said I'm tired? I was just putting myself in the right mood for this."
"Hmm, what mood?" Slowly, the woman made herself comfortable on his lap as she cupped his face. "I want to know~"
Staring deeply into his eyes, the woman's face slowly grew closer and closer to his. Eventually, the two connected their lips into a deep kiss. The man rested his hands on her hips as he slowly guided his tongue into her mouth.
A small moan leaked out of her mouth as she let him do what he wanted. In a matter of moments, the two found themselves battling greedily as their tongues twirled and coiled around each other.
At the same time, their hands were roaming each other's bodies, slowly undressing one another while caressing each other slowly. The heated moment only grew more intense the more they kissed.
"Mmm, honey…" The woman moaned as she hugged him. Meanwhile, the man slowly put his hands under her thighs and picked her up as he slowly carried her to the bed before slowly putting her down.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked in a hoarse voice, his eyes shining ominously under the soothing light of the room.
"Yeah, I'm ready." She smiled as she looked at him with excitement in her eyes. That seemed to make the man smile as he slowly moved his head down, letting go of any resistance he was trying to put up.

A few hours later
The two lay down on the bed silently. The woman rested her head blissfully on the man's naked chest while he simply put his hand around her as he closed his eyes.
"That was… amazing." She muttered as she slowly circled with her finger on his chest. "It felt really good…"
"Is that so?" He asked.
"Mm, did you enjoy it?"
The man's eyes moved down to look at the woman for a moment before he sighed.
"What's up?" She asked. "Did you not like it?" Her face grew worried for a second.
The man, however, didn't say a word and instead suddenly flipped her over, pinning her down beneath him. The girl was shocked for a second, blinking with her big eyes. "A-Are you still eager for more? You have quite the energy…"
Even though she was chuckling, she felt nervous for a second. The man's entire demeanor had suddenly changed.
"..." Staring at her silently, the man's expression slowly turned colder and colder.
"V-Victor? You're scaring me, please speak."
"I'm sorry…" He muttered as he closed his eyes for a moment, his cold eyes flashing with complicated emotions.
"Sorry? For wh-"
*Swish*
At that moment, the woman's eyes widened slightly as she felt a cold sensation take over her chest. Her entire expression froze as she slowly looked down. There, she saw something protruding out of her chest, as red liquid slowly seeped out.
"Hah…" Her eyes flashed with confusion as she slowly looked up. The man was staring back at her, with a dark expression.
"W… hy?" She asked as she felt her breath halting.
However, the man didn't respond as he slowly stood up and hopped off the bed. The woman's eyes traced him as she felt her body grow colder and colder. Tears slowly welled up in her eyes before she finally exhaled her last breath.
Meanwhile, the man was already starting to wear his clothes before he stopped and stared at the woman. The entire bed was now drenched in her own blood as she lay there, motionless… A dead corpse.
He stood there for a few moments, examining her corpse with his eyes. The split second of emotions he felt was now long gone. Then, he slowly continued wearing his clothes before he slowly picked up his phone and dialed a number.
Putting the device near his ear, he waited for someone to pick it up. Then, he said.
"Target eliminated."
"Good work, Agent Black. Report back to the headquarters." A colder voice responded.
However, Victor didn't reply and simply hung up the phone. After that, he slowly marched toward the balcony near the bedroom. The time was still early in the morning so the city skyline was still dark with no sign of the sun.
Standing there, he closed his eyes and left the cold wind to hit his face. Then, he slowly put his hand in his pocket, pulled out a cigarette, and lit it up.
"Fuuuh…" He exhaled the smoke as he stared at the distance. Then, he slowly smoked the cigarette and simply left his thoughts to get carried away.
For some reason, this kind of atmosphere made Victor feel a different mood than usual. Something about the darkness and coldness of the night made him think of the past, his life, where he was, and the stuff he had done.
It was akin to a therapy session, except he never reached any solution to his dilemmas. Turns out, talking to yourself usually doesn't bring different results.
'... It's a beautiful night.' He thought to himself as his eyes slowly wandered down. Since they were on the last floor, the ground seemed so far away.
"Fuuuh…" With a dazed expression, Victor flicked the rest of the cigarette away, letting fall down with the last embers of fire left in it. Following it with his eyes, he sighed.
Then, he slowly approached the rails of the balcony and then slowly climbed on top of them. Slowly, he stood up on the edge of the rail, and then he looked down.
"Time to get this over with." He muttered to himself. For some reason, even though he knew what he was about to do, it still felt rather freeing. Something he never felt before.
'I wonder what will happen after this… Eh, who cares? It's not like I'm expecting anything good.' He shook his head before he slowly put his right leg in the air. Then, right before he tilted forward, he said.
"I wonder if they serve hot food in hell."
Then, he completely let go… Allowing for the cold freedom to embrace him tightly… Never letting go again. A blurry image of the world flashed across Victor's eyes as he fell down. His expression was that of someone in a daze, not understanding anything and yet feeling everything. It was a one-in-a-lifetime thing… And he had a first-row seat at experiencing it.
Everything after that turned completely black.

An unknown amount of time passed. Victor didn't know whether it had been a minute or a thousand years since he died. But, he was certain of it. He had died.
He had thought about the concept of death many times before. Questions like: What happened when someone died? Or whether hell and heaven existed or not. In fact, he contemplated those ideas so much, he can't remember a time when he didn't think about that.
After all, his entire life revolved around that word 'Death'... He was a death reaper, harvesting the souls of those unwilling to die, and yet ironically, he was the one who wished for death the most.
He didn't know why it took this long, perhaps the shackles of his previous life were too tight, or he simply was too much of a coward to do it. But, that didn't matter anymore, he had done it now.
'I didn't know death felt this… Real…' Viktor thought to himself. Even though his eyes were closed, he felt his body and soul still intact… If that was even possible. 'Hell sure doesn't feel as hot as people like to describe it.'
Slowly, his eyes parted open as he sucked in the light of the sun. Its familiar warmth filled his entire body. It reminded him of the comfortable early mornings he had when he didn't have to go out for work.
'Wait… the sun?'
Realizing the problem with what he was thinking about, his eyes opened wide as he looked around him. He was surprisingly not welcomed with the sight of a sea of lava with red monsters carrying giant pokers walking around as he expected. Instead, he found himself inside what seemed to be an old bedroom.
"I didn't die?"
