Volkan's eyes narrowed as he grabbed the cup of coffee from Lucia's hand and set it aside, his gaze never leaving hers.
The tension in the room was thick as he stood in front of her, so close that she could feel the heat from his body.
Without a word, he reached for her forearm, his fingers grazing her wrist, making a shiver run down her spine at that skin contact between their skin, as he examined the red forming bruise around the area.
His jaw tightened.
"Who did this to you?" he asked, his voice low, almost a growl. "Why aren't you replying to me? I asked you a question, Lucia Vivian."
Lucia's breath caught in her throat.
She hesitated, glancing over at Tynan and Darth, who were both watching her with the same intense expressions.
