"Fine," she muttered, glaring up at him. "You win. Now, what do you want?"
Volkan pulled off his mask, a triumphant grin spreading across his face.
The others soon joined them, removing their masks but saying nothing, their eyes locked on her with an intensity that made her skin crawl.
Lucia's patience was wearing thin. "What? Why are you all just staring at me?"
Darth smirked, folding his arms over his chest. "You're smiling," he said, his voice filled with amusement. "Like, genuinely smiling."
Lucia blinked, caught off guard.
She hadn't even realized it, but he was right. She had been smiling.
Despite everything, she'd enjoyed the thrill of the chase.
"So what?" she snapped, trying to cover her embarrassment. "Can't a girl smile?"
Darth chuckled, shaking his head. "A girl can smile. Didn't expect it from you, that's all."
