Zeix's hand and half-cut body regenerated in mere seconds, leaving the dragon in shock and fear.
"What? Regeneration? Isn't he a human? How is this possible? And that regeneration speed... I've never seen anything like it. But he's just a human!" the dragon thought, its mind racing with confusion.
Determined to end this anomaly, the dragon flew up and launched a powerful beam aimed straight at Zeix's head. Zeix, however, moved his head to the side just in time, dodging the attack with ease. The dragon's shock intensified.
"What?!"
Zeix, now emboldened by his newfound strength, picked up a rock and hurled it at the dragon with incredible speed. The rock glowed like a meteor as it streaked towards the dragon. Unable to react in time, the dragon was struck in the heart, the force of the impact creating a gaping hole in its chest. The dragon froze, its lifeblood pouring out as it crashed to the ground, its eyes dimming as it died.
Zeix stared at the fallen dragon for a moment before turning away and continuing his journey. As he moved forward, he found himself in a lush, green jungle. Climbing a tree, he picked a green and yellow fruit, took a bite, and smiled at its delicious taste. Satisfied, he picked four more fruits and continued onward.
Eventually, Zeix reached a lake. Remembering the poison he had consumed from a lake earlier, he approached this one cautiously. Taking a sip, he was relieved to find the water pure and refreshing. Smiling, he said, "It's good."
He sat on a branch, enjoying the view, when the sound of rustling grass caught his attention. Turning around, he saw an arrow speeding towards him. With quick reflexes, he caught the arrow mid-air. His eyes widened as he saw three elves standing before him, bows drawn and arrows aimed.
One of the elves, with a fierce expression, shouted, "Run... Run away from our home!"
To be continued...
