Zeix, the Elder, and the three elves made their way through the forest. The Elder turned to Zeix and said, "Young man, I want to ask you something."
Zeix replied, "O-okay. What about?"
The Elder continued, "The healing magic you used earlier."
Zeix recalled the moment he had completely healed a burned tree. "Oh, that's a secret magic my master taught me."
The Elder nodded. "I see. Your master must be very talented."
"Yes, he is," Zeix answered, but inwardly he thought, "Actually, I just converted my regeneration into a magical form."
After some time, they reached a clearing. Zeix looked ahead and saw numerous houses built in the trees, decorated with leaves. Elves were playing, working on farms, and training with swords. Zeix was amazed by the beautiful sight.
The Elder gestured grandly and said, "Welcome, Zeix, to the village of the Elves."
A girl with green hair and a beautiful leaf dress came running towards them. "Runy, Rudy, Roky, are you three alright? I heard they sent you to the gate again."
All three of them blushed and stammered, "Oh, Rena, yes, we're alright. Thank you for coming."
Zeix saw this and couldn't help but smile at their flustered reactions. The Elder led Zeix to a house, where he sat on a chair made of planks. He smelled something delicious and turned to see Rena coming with food. She served him bread, vegetable soup, and tea.
Zeix's eyes lit up. "Ohhh, thank you, Rena!"
Rena replied, "Oh no, the Elder gave me the task of taking care of our guest, so I'm just doing my duty."
"Is that so? Thank you very much. It's been a long time since I had such good food," Zeix said, digging in enthusiastically. He spoke with his mouth full, and the food got stuck, causing him to cough.
Rena handed him a glass of water. "It's not good to talk while eating."
"Oh, sorry, I forgot," Zeix said, taking the water and resuming his meal.
Meanwhile, outside the window, Runy, Rudy, and Roky watched, jealousy evident on their faces. Roky muttered, "You piece of crap, Zeix."
Zeix continued enjoying his food, oblivious to their feelings.
