Zeix raised his hand, flames swirling around his fist, and created a spear of fire. With precise aim, he hurled the spear, which streaked through the air, burning trees and grass in its path. The elves braced themselves, thinking their end was near, but the spear passed by them and struck a massive bear behind them, reducing it to ashes.
One of the elves thought, "He saved us?"
As the elves turned back, they saw Zeix using magic to heal the scorched trees. They were astonished.
"What a healing magic that restores nature! How is this possible?" one of the elves exclaimed.
Another elf asked, "Who are you?"
Zeix, still focused on healing the trees, replied, "As I said, I am not your enemy. I am just a traveler who got lost. Can we talk and resolve this peacefully?"
The elves were silent, but suddenly, a voice from their side spoke up, "Wonderful! What great power!"
They turned to see an old elf approaching. The three elves exclaimed in unison, "Elder!"
The Elder smiled and said, "I sensed someone unfamiliar, so I came to see. What I witnessed was incredible. Young man, what's your name?"
"I'm Zeix," he replied.
The Elder nodded. "Zeix, you said you are lost, correct?"
"Yes, I was traveling and lost all my belongings. I ended up wandering into this forest," Zeix explained.
The Elder's eyes twinkled with understanding. "I see, I see. Why don't you come to our village?"
The three elves were taken aback. "Elder, what are you saying? Didn't you see what he just did?" one of them protested.
The Elder nodded. "Yes, that's why I'm inviting him. Zeix, would you like to come with us?"
Zeix hesitated, not wanting to impose. "If they are not comfortable, I think I will continue on my way." But inwardly, he thought, "Man, I really want to go to their village."
The Elder turned to the three elves. "Runy, Rudy, Roky, what do you say?"
The first elf, Runy, replied reluctantly, "Well, if you say so, Elder..."
The second elf, Rudy, sighed, "Only because you said it, Elder..."
The third elf, Roky, grumbled, "Tch..."
The Elder smiled warmly. "Well then, young man, what do you say?"
Zeix couldn't hide his excitement. "If that's the case, I'd love to come." Inside, he was cheering, "Hell yeah!"
The Elder turned to the elves. "You three, gather your things. Let's move."
They responded in unison, "Yes, Elder."
As they prepared to leave, Zeix thought to himself, "Man, I am so excited."
