"How is Matheo? Is there a problem with Shane?" asked Arthur after Matheo had checked on Shane.
"He's just stressed, I'll prescribe some medicine," Matheo replied, and then he gave Frederick the prescription to buy the medicine.
"Stressed? What's stressing him out?" asked Arthur.
"You can ask him directly," Matheo replied as he looked at Shane and smiled.
"Don't smile at him, he's mine!" fumed Arthur as he shot Matheo a glare.
"Hahaha, don't get your hopes up, Arthur. He's like this because of you," Matheo said with a laugh, patting Arthur on the shoulder.
Arthur's eyeballs had turned red, his hands quickly grabbed Matheo's neck and brought Matheo's body to the wall of the room. Matheo's feet were no longer attached to the floor of the room as Arthur lifted Matheo's body high.
Matheo just smiled wryly at Arthur's actions. "What's wrong with you guys?" asked
Shane, who looked panicked after realizing his shock at Arthur's quick movements."You know, he shouldn't be here. He needs to get out of here, because this isn't his world. You've crossed the line, Arthur. He's not your mate!" said Matheo, stammering from the choke hold on his neck.
Shane immediately ran to help Matheo. "Let him go. What are you doing, Arthur?" shouted Shane as he pulled Arthur's hand that was choking Matheo.
"Arthur!" shouted Shane again, still trying to pull Arthur's hand from Matheo's neck.
Out of nowhere, Shane now hugged Arthur's body from behind. "Let him go," Shane whispered.
"Forgive him," whispered Shane again, who was still hugging Arthur's body tightly.
Slowly, Arthur's choke on Matheo's neck loosened until finally the choke was released. Arthur let go of Shane's hands that held him. After that, he immediately turned his body around and hugged Shane's body tightly. Shane could only stay in Arthur's arms without returning Arthur's embrace. He did it just reflexively because he was too panicked by Arthur's sudden action of strangling Doctor Matheo. Even though Doctor Matheo was just smiling and it was just a normal thing, there was no need to make Arthur strangle Matheo.
Matheo and Frederick came out of Shane's room. "They're already outside, can you let go of your hug?" asked Shane in a flat tone of voice.
Arthur let go of the hug and looked at Shane with a look that Shane couldn't understand. "Don't listen to what Matheo says, he's just jealous that you're mine," Matheo said.
"I don't care at all about him, so don't do that stupid thing again," said Shane, whose face only looked flat.
"What are you thinking? Tell me. I can't read your mind at all, mine," Arthur said.
"Get out, I want to get out of here. I want to feel the air outside this building," Shane replied.
"You can get out all you want, mine. Why don't you? Do they not want to accompany you? If they do, they will receive their punishment," said Arthur, whose eyes were red again.
This time, Shane realized that Arthur's eyeballs could indeed turn red. He wasn't wrong at all about Arthur's eyeballs. He thought Arthur's eyeballs were just his illusion because he was reminded of the red-eyed wolf. However, in front of his eyes, he saw the change in color of Arthur's eyeballs.
Shane didn't want to look at Arthur at all. He now felt a sense of dread. The image of the red-eyed wolf flashed in his mind. The dream he felt was so real that even what he was doing now made him wonder, did he actually exist in the dream world he made? Or is he actually dead and in the realm of the dead? How can there be humans whose eyeballs can change color just like that? Maybe he had actually died being eaten by that pack of red-eyed wolves.
"Hi, Mine, what's wrong?" asked Arthur as he gently rubbed Shane's cheek. Arthur was worried about Shane's current state, and he couldn't hear what was in Shane's head at all.
Shane was surprised, and he then pushed Arthur's body, even though he didn't move at all when he pushed Arthur's body."Hi, mine. What's bothering you? Just tell me," Arthur said in a soft tone of voice.
"Can you get away from me?" asked Shane without looking at Arthur.
Instead of moving his body away from Shane, Arthur now hugged Shane's waist and brought their bodies closer together. Arthur smiled and brought his lips to Shane's cheek.
"I don't like being away from you, mine. Hugging you is like inhaling intoxicating pheromones, to the point that I always want to go home when I'm working," Arthur said with a smile and then kissed Shane's cheek repeatedly.
Shane surrendered, because no matter how much he wanted to fight, it would all be in vain. He didn't know why things were like this. It was strange that he couldn't fight Arthur, who looked smaller than him in stature. As the days passed by, it was almost a month since Shane had been at Arthur's house without being able to go anywhere. He would only go to the orchard or the river. Bored, very, very bored. But at least he could get away from the debt collectors.
Shane stared at the river in front of him until he realized something."The river must have an end," Shane said, standing up from his seat.
He then walked along the river. He continued walking until he felt very tired because he had walked a long way, but he had not yet found the end of the river. He sat down on the rocks by the river. The water was so clear that he could see the fish in the river.
"Why is there no way out at all? How long is this river that I can't find the end of?" he asked as he stared at the clear, calm water. The water moved only because the fish in the river jumped up and went back into the river again.
"Why are you here, mine?" asked someone whose voice Shane had memorized because he had heard it for almost a month.
Shane didn't answer, he just stood up from his seat and walked away from there. Arthur pulled Shane's waist until his position, and now Arthur hugged Shane's waist from behind.
"What's wrong Mine, tell me. Why do you look so glum? Just tell me, I'll do what you want," Arthur said in a soft voice.
Arthur's breath was already felt next to Shane's neck, and Shane was still silent without saying anything. "Mine say, I can't hear what you're thinking at all. Just tell me, then I will obey you," Arthur said in his soft tone of voice.
"I want to get out, I'm bored here all the time. I want to go back to work, I also have to pay my debts," said Shane, still with his back to Arthur and Arthur's hands still faithfully hugging Shane's waist.
"You don't need to work anymore, all your debts have been paid off. So you don't think about it anymore," said Arthur, who again inhaled the aroma of Shane's body, which was always intoxicating until he felt like making love to Shane.
Shane turned his body suddenly, causing Arthur's embrace to break and Arthur's face to turn sad. His lips were bent downward because he still wanted to feel the scent of Shane's body.
"How did you pay them? You don't know them. You shouldn't have to do that either," Shane said with an angry look on his face.
"I don't know," Arthur replied.
"No idea? But you said that my debt was paid?" asked Shane in surprise.
"Frederick took care of it, he did it from the first day you were in this house," replied Arthur, who looked at Shane with a sad look on his face.
