"That's impossible!" Arthur denied. Shane was just an ordinary person who was probably pure, unlike the humans out there who were hypocrites.
"Only pure human offspring can do it," Albert said.
"But after Joselyn died, there were no more pure human births. You're not children who don't know what a pure human birth is!" Arthur fumed. "Shane is just an ordinary human, not a pure human!" said Arthur.
"You better go home, I'm just telling you that my chosen mate is a good human, even though I can't read his mind. But he's just an ordinary, pure human," said Artur as he looked angrily at Aria.
"It's fine if you don't believe it. But you have to remember what consequences you have to accept if the partner you choose is not of the same race as ours. Because since the battle 400 years ago, the human race can no longer mix with our race anymore," said Albert.
"I will definitely protect Shane, and I will make sure that no one can touch him!" Arthur said as he looked at Albert with an angry gaze. A look at how he would destroy anyone who would disturb Shane.
Days passed, while this time Aria would stay at Arthur's house as well as Albert's. They want to make sure Albert's guess is wrong because what Arthur said is true. Since 400 years ago, there has never been a pure human birth. So, it is impossible if Shane is a pure human.
Aria was sitting next to Shane, who was sitting by the river while eating the fruits he had picked in the garden. "Ah, it's nice to sit here," Aria said, but Shane was silent.
"No wonder Arthur prefers to live here compared to the city, the air is so fresh," Aria said again. With both hands she placed on the right and left sides of her body, her body also pulled back so that her head was now looking up to stare at the sky, which was so bright today.
Shane was still silent as he stared at the stream. In his heart, he only cursed Aria, who followed him wherever he went, so that he could not check the road to get out of Arthur's house by himself.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Aria, who was now straightening up and looking at Shane, who was now turning his head towards her.
"I'm thinking about how I can get out of here. I'm bored in here. I want to work, but Arthur won't let me. I also can't contact my girlfriend even though I have a cell phone," Shane replied.
Aria was silent as she continued to stare into Shane's eyeballs, "Aria," called Shane because Aria was just silent.
Shane rolled his eyeballs lazily, "Does this family like cosplay into stone?" asked Shane silently.
Shane looked back at the river that flowed so calmly in front of him, but several times there were fish jumping out so that the water became bumpy.
"Do you have powers?" asked Aria, to the point. She couldn't just stand by and observe Shane every day.
Shane frowned and then turned his head to look at Aria. "What does that mean?" asked Shane.
"Do you have powers? I can't see you at all." asked Aria, making Sahane's forehead wrinkle even more with Aria's question.
"Is this family really crazy? She's not blind, why ask me if she can't see me?" asked Shane silently.
"Tell me, I can't wait to just follow wherever you go," said Aria.
"You're not blind? Why are you asking me this?" asked Shane, looking angrily at Aria.
Shane stood up from his seat, he had had enough, he was tired of responding to Arthur's crazy family. He turned his body around and was about to leave, but his steps had to be stopped because Aria grabbed his wrist.
"What's wrong?" asked Shane lazily.
"I'm serious, what powers do you have?" Aria asked Shane seriously.
"What powers? I don't have any powers!" annoyed Shane.
"Please let go of my hand," said Shane as he looked at his wrist, which was still being held by Aria.
"I can't see you, you must have powers. Who are you, really? There's no way an ordinary human can't see me!" Aria was angry as she firmly gripped Shane's wrist.
At first, Shane could withstand Aria's grip on her wrist, but now her wrist was burning. It was so hot that Shane looked at the flames coming out of his wrists, and he was so shocked when he saw Aria's body burned by fire.
Shane immediately hugged Aria's body and carried Aria's body into the river. Aria's gaze was still angry, and the flames on Aria's body had not diminished at all, making Shane frown. His body ached as it slammed into the rocks in the river. He, who had fallen on his side into the river, now got up and sat up.
Aria's body was still on fire, her wrists, which were still gripped by Aria, were burned, but her body, which had been holding Aria, was not burned at all. He was confused by this situation, until ...
"Aria, what are you doing?" Shane was angry and immediately pulled Aria's hand away from Shane's wrist.
One flick from Arthur put out the fire on Aria's body as well as on Shane's wrist. Shane could feel the water soaking her wrists, the water was so cold that it made her wrists, which were hot from the fire, cool.
Shane looked down at her wrists, which were reddened but no longer felt hot or sore. "Are you crazy?" asked Arthur as he looked at his sister, who was still staring at Shane.
"Ah, sh*t!" cursed Aria.
"He really has powers," said Aria as she looked at Arthur, who was staring at her angrily.
"What's wrong?" asked Aria, seeing her brother staring at her angrily.
"You're going to burn Shane, and you ask why?" asked Arthur angrily.
"Ah..." said Aria, then looked at Shane. "Sorry, I was too upset because I couldn't see you," said Aria apologetically.
Shane wanted to say something, but he didn't want to drive himself crazy by responding to Aria's words. "Yes," was the only answer Shane gave.
Shane stood up from his seat, and then he stormed out of there, leaving the siblings behind. He was already very tired of living here, and now he had to add Arthur's sister, who said crazy things. So, it's better for Shane to just get out of there.
