After finishing their meal, Aurora and Kane returned to work. Back in the office, she attended her remaining meetings.
One by one, she addressed various issues, made decisions, and provided guidance to her new team. Kane, meanwhile, found a quiet corner and continued his chess game, occasionally glancing up to see Aurora in action.
As the last meeting wrapped up, Aurora felt a sense of accomplishment. She had managed to navigate a day in her new role.
"All done for the day," Aurora announced to Kane as she gathered her things.
"Finally," Kane said, stretching. "Can we go now?"
"Yes, we can go," Aurora replied with a tired smile. "Thanks for being patient."
She packed her belongings and left the office, locking the door behind her. She walked to her car along with Kane.
