Currently, in the EA base, Flint had sent a small team led by Ling to scout the area and investigate the abnormal signal reading. "Update, Agent Ling, what do you see?" Flint asked, his voice firm and commanding.
Ling, part of the team sent to scout on a military helicopter, replied, "We're still at a distance, closing in fast." She was surrounded by 7 seasoned military veterans, plus the two pilots, making a total of 10 highly equipped personnel on the military helicopter. Ling was setting up her sniper rifle, while one of her team members was surveying the area with binoculars.
"Alpha, there seems to be a dungeon-like structure here," the team member reported.
Ling moved closer, finished setting up her rifle, and positioned herself at the door opening of the helicopter. She peered through the sniper scope and spotted the structure, her expression hinting at surprise. "Over, sir," she reported back to Flint, "we have eyes on a towering fortress. It looks well-maintained, but I can't spot anyone around it."
At the EA base, Flint turned to Carter, his eyes narrowing. "Is there any structure like that on the digital map?" Carter typed furiously on his computer before responding, "No, sir. Whatever it is, it must have been built recently, and whoever built it did it discreetly. There's no record of it on any government files."
Flint's expression turned grim. "Agent Ling, land the helicopter. From now on, you'll advance on foot." Ling acknowledged the order with a hand signal to the pilot, who began descending the aircraft to land on the snow fields.
"They've landed," Morgan said, her eyes fixed on the distant helicopter. Though it was still far away, their supernatural eyesight and hearing allowed them to see and hear it, albeit unclearly.
"I'll go take a look," Morgan said to Ashkat, her gaze still fixed on the helicopter.
Ashkat nodded, her serious expression eased up. "Alright," she replied, her voice low and even.
Morgan left the throne room, heading for the upper floor opening that resembled a penthouse. She walked at a moderate pace, following a paved concrete path that stretched out like a bridge, connecting the topmost floor to the walls. The path was wide enough for two people to walk abreast, with a low railing on either side that offered a glimpse of the snowy fields below.
As she reached the wall's edge, she stopped, her feet poised on the very edge. With a swift motion, she summoned a long white spear from her spatial ring on her right hand and held it at her side. Her gaze was fixed on the snowy fields in the direction the helicopter had landed, her eyes narrowed slightly as she surveyed the scene before her. Ashkat stood still inside the room looking out at morgans figure which was now outside on the far walls out in the open.
