We got to the school in thirty minutes. One thought bugged my mind. Why did that ring make me feel like that? I didn't understand, but I would find out later. Hmmm, first day , and a new mystery to solve. Don't blame me, I like a bit of adventure in my otherwise non-pageturner life.
"So, until we bump into each other in some weird place, I guess I'll see you then." Jae-kyung said, and I alighted the car to be welcomed by a buzz of activity. I gripped my suitcase tight in uncertainty. With no sense of the familiar, a wave of homesickness washed over me....at least that was familiar.
Well, what can you do when all of a sudden, school no longer held the promise it was supposed to have? The campus was divided into four sections. The libraries to the right, practical halls and labs, stood next to them, leaving adequate space for passage only. The auditorium to the middle ( of course it being large, was the only building occupying that space) and finally, the great dormitory building, which clearly separated the boy's dorms, from the girl's. The only thing I wanted to do there and then, was to find my dorm, unpack and crash for the night.
Simple as it sounded, it was practically impossible, due to me being a..you know... scholarship student.
I had to see the VC, then a couple of lectures, and arranged my time table. Of course, I already had my major, which was software engineering, so I had to pick related subjects. I walked up to a counter which provided the school brochures, and a map. I bought them, and decided to check the map first.
Heading east of the campus, I started on my way to what I supposed to be the admin block at a weird corner.

"Good day sir." I said in English, as the VC opened the door for me. I stood beside the door, and he sat back at his desk. I out of etiquette, continued standing.
"Oh take a seat." He said, offering me the chair across him. I sized up the chair, and his intentions, even though they were clear... He obviously didn't like me.
"So, um you applied with a pending highschool diploma?" He asked getting down to business. He sat in a business casual manner.
"Yes. I am planning to take the exams next week. I stated it in the application form." I said trying to salvage my soiled reputation.
"Yes,yes. I saw that. So I suppose I don't have much to tell you. But you need to know that as a scholarship student, you are expected to do exceptionally well. Otherwise, the school will have no choice, but..." He said, letting the implication sink in. I had to do my best. I wasn't going to let pa down.
"I understand. Thank you sir." I said, getting up. He got up also, and extended his hand for a firm but intimidating handshake.
"Good luck with S.N.U and don't die trying too hard" he said by way of joke, but I could clearly hear the threat there. 'Don't mess up.' Was what he was trying to tell me.... Or maybe something worse.

Blood. Blood. Blood. You need more blood. Yes. Blood. And you are going to drink the blood of everyone Kim. You will!!! And I won't save you. Hahahaha!!!!
I snapped back into reality, as someone pushed past me.
I had been seeing this demon since the flight down here. I thought it was just airborne nightmares, but from the looks of things, I had a sick feeling things were going to get messy.
I opened the door of my room, to see two boys already settled in, and chatting casually.
"Hey. You must be either Ben, or Kim-Jun?" The tall one asked with a politely amused smile.
"Tired and stressed would be me. And you are?" I asked trying to make light.
"Quite the joker as well. It's Eun-Jae Song." He said, and flashed his hand at me. My eyes fell on the exact same ring Jae-kyung had been wearing. Demon and everything.
I saw him grin, and then his eyes turned a dangerous shade of red.....
