I paced back and forth in the room. I had to have this figured out. I had classes in the next ten minutes, and I wasn't going to be a scape goat for some inhuman lecturer that wanted to have the pleasure of rubbing my scholarship on my face like it was something to be ashamed of.
But instead, here I was, pacing up and down my room, trying to decide if I wanted to join some stupid and probably satanic cult group for vampires.
"If you go on like this, you are most certainly going to smash your head through the wall." Marcello said sitting on the bed, and staring at my phone.
"I can't do it. I'm going to class." I said, and started packing my books for class, when I remembered that it was practical classes I had today. Ehnn, whatever. I picked up my laptop, and headed out the door, to class. Thankfully, no one was there in the living room, so I was able to slip out.

"Kim-Jun Namgung, lucky you, you're one minute early to class. Well, I would give you the honor of sitting next to me. Would you?" Mr Sun-Bae asked, as I entered the lecture hall. I looked around, and felt the eyes of the unknown students on me. Only one of them was strikingly familiar.....Nina. I was in serious trouble. Or so I thought.
"Okay sir." I said and approached the seat. Sitting down next to the lecturer, I felt this energy emit from him. What it was, I didn't know, and it didn't feel familiar.
I looked at his hands, and nothing was there except a gold designer band that was supposed to look like a wedding ring, but bore his name on it.
Phew, okay safe zone. I allowed myself to look at him, and sure enough he was breathtakingly handsome. I mean WITAF! How was allowed someone this handsome? Looking at him made Austin look pale in comparison.
"Here you go." He said handing me the practical sheet, with a dangerously disarming smile.
I positively melted as I took the sheet from him.
I quickly ran my eyes over the paper. Oh please, I could do these tasks on my sleep.
I opened my laptop, eager to impress, and started on the first task.
"Looks like you know your way around the application." He said, and I nodded, as I continued to do the task. I didn't dare look at him, lest he'd have seen my burning cheeks.
Twenty minutes later, I was done, and the only person who had finished.
"Excellent work. Mr Namgung. I would like to make you an offer. See me after class today." He said, and continued going over my work. "Well folks, I hope you have your flash drives handy, cos I wouldn't be going from seat to seat just to check your works. I want those flash drives on my table before the end of today, or consider yourself losing twelve marks on your first test." Mr Sun-Bae said in an attractively authoritative voice.
Handsome and positively masculine. I had to get to know this guy, and he'd just offered me a chance. Watch me take it....
" We need to talk." Nina said, dragging me out of the class the moment Mr Sun-Bae left.
"If this is about you trying to kill me yesterday, then don't even start." I said fiercely, trying to assert my position.
It worked, and she cowered slightly, before regaining composure." For the records, you tried to kill us. But I'm going to let it slide. I just have one question for you. Who is your sire?"
"How should any of that be your concern?" I asked wearing a grim expression.
"Because shadow magic is a forbidden demon class magic. Only king class vampires can use it as it is a threat to both the human race and the vampires. So I ask again, who is your sire?" She rambled, and out of my peripheral vision, Marcello stood there wearing a smirk.
I smiled back at him as the most brilliant thought entered my head.
"Marcello De Hun." I said, and her eyes grew wide withe the ultimate manner of surprise.
Yep, I had just upped my ante, and now that I knew just who Marcello was, I was going to use that to my advantage...
