"Who? You mean her?" I asked, staring blankly in the hallway. I didn't say too much, and picked my card from the counter, thanking the receptionist. I headed back to Jeraldine's room.
"When did you come? How come I didn't know?" Just at the heat of the moment, I burst into Jeraldine's room finding her and Shawn talking. I tried not to poke my nose into their business but it was so impossible.
What seemed like eternity, Jeraldine exhaled, rushing towards my side. I checked her properly and discovered the drip previously on her arm was let loose.
"Shawn, I guess your time here is over. I have Rachel to accompany me." She twirled her hair while speaking, displaying how uncomfortable she was in the room. I twitched my lips watching Shawn walk to the corner of the room and drag out a seat for himself. "I didn't mean you should…"
