Lucian never backed down from a challenge. He kept his face stern, his eyes locked with Philo's. After a long stare, Philo chuckled sarcastically, reached for his walking stick, and whacked Lucian's arm away from him.
Lucian swallowed hard as he received a whack on his shoulders. He didn't complain, rather let out a cold, demeaning smirk.
"I won't let you down grandfather, most especially I wouldn't let Mom down." He said, referring to his late mother who had passed away unjustifiably.
"Your mother would have made a great leader but she had to burn her flames. You better keep your promises, I am watching your every move, one mistake and you are dead." He stretched out his index fingers and placed it on his neck, making a 'tsk' sound with his mouth. "You are a goner!" Sharply he ran across his fingers on his neck.
