Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Detactive Cappuccino

The group of police officers entered the old town on horseback.

"So, this is the old town, huh?" Cappuccino said.

Cappuccino looked like a 30-year-old man with brown hair and a long mustache.

"Yeah, sir. This is the younger brother of Peter's family who was killed by some people," one of the assistants replied.

"Okay, then let's head deeper into the town."

They rode into the town.

MEANWHILE, IN STEVEN LOSS MOUNTAIN (Snow Mountain)

The four men, led by Mark Peter (the younger brother of Peter's family), were approaching the Aden Peter territory.

They finally arrived.

"Hey, where's Yelder's boss? I need to see him urgently," one of the men said.

"He's in his tent, but he said not to disturb hi—"

The man opened the door.

"Hey, Yelder's boss, younger boss—"

BANG!

The man was shot in the stomach.

Aden Peter emerged from the tent, visibly angry.

"How many times have I told you guys not to disturb me when I'm busy?" Aden growled.

He was completely naked, his body covered in tattoos, including a lion tattoo on his back. He was muscular and had a bold, terrifying voice.

The man screamed in pain.

"Now, what's the problem?" Aden leaned close, locking eyes with the man, who trembled in fear.

"Yelder's boss, your younger brother—" the man gasped, "—was killed by some people."

"What?! Did the police come? How did this happen? He had Bitts with him!" Aden shouted.

"That's the problem, boss. Bitts was defeated by some rookie."

"Rookie?! What does he look like? Tell me!" Aden shook the man's head violently.

"I don't know his name, sir, but he rides a black horse and has a golden pistol."

"A golden pistol?! Are you sure?"

"Yes, sir." Aden released the man's head harshly.

He stood naked in the snow, yet he didn't shiver.

"Hey, men!" he shouted loudly.

"What, sir?" Everyone gathered.

"You all heard that, right? Go bring him here. I want to have a little chat with that guy," he said with a sinister smile.

"Boss, what about the younger boss? Can we take his dead body—"

"There's no need. He's useless. I already thought about killing him, but it seems he was taken out by a bunch of useless people like him," Aden said carelessly, showing no sympathy for his brother.

Everyone was shocked.

"And don't bother robbing that place; it's useless now. Find a new target, somewhere with more money. Leave the poor town alone."

"Yes, boss."

"Hey, what happened to Bitts? Is he also dead?"

"Yeah, sir, he was killed in a showdown," one of the younger boss's men replied.

"Okay, go and bring that bastard here."

"Alright, sir," everyone said as they dismissed themselves.

Meanwhile, in the Old Town

The police entered the old town streets, and the residents appeared angry.

"Hey, what are you doing here?!"

"Come to check if we're dead or not?"

"Calling yourselves police?"

"Get out of our town!"

The townspeople scolded the police officers and demanded they leave.

Cappuccino dismounted in front of the old man's bar.

"Everyone, listen! I know what you've been through these last two years, and I understand your feelings. You can scold me all you want, but what happened to you in the past is not my responsibility."

The crowd looked shocked.

"I'm the new detective in this town, and today I'm going to protect you, no matter what. In the past, some officers didn't protect this town due to bribery, but from this day forward, I will do everything I can to safeguard you and this town. My name is Cappuccino, and I am your new police officer. Please welcome me!"

Cappuccino's bold and confident speech began to win over the townspeople, who started to consider trusting him.

"And now, I want to meet someone—he's the one who saved everyone today. Where is he? I promise I won't arrest him."

Even though he was in the bar, Cappuccino could sense that the townspeople still didn't fully trust him, and they remained silent.

Suddenly, the old man stepped outside.

"He's here; he told you to come inside."

"What?!" The crowd was shocked, fearing Cappuccino would arrest him. Suspicion filled the air.

"Okay, I'm coming," Cappuccino said.

He went inside, leaving the other officers waiting outside the bar.
