David and his horse are eating in a restaurant. Blacky is eating outside the restaurant.
While eating, David starts a conversation with the man at the table across from him.
"Sir, I'm new to this town. Could you tell me about its specialties?"
"Oh, sure! This town is famous for its clothes. You can find any type here: the latest trends, old-fashioned styles, and even unique designs. You can get clothes made to your specifications just by giving the tailors instructions or sketches. People from other districts and wealthy individuals come here to shop."
"Oh, so this town must be prosperous, since the sellers are making a nice profit from the rich customers."
"That's the problem," the man replies.
"What problem?" David asks.
"While the sellers make high profits, they have to deal with the Aden Peter gang. They come by every week to collect money from the sellers, taking half of their earnings. And the police here…"
"Don't care about it, right?" David interjects.
"No."
David is shocked.
"People are too afraid to speak up, so the police can't take action."
"That's disgusting! Blackmailing people!" David thinks to himself.
"It's a tough life here. It's hard to see half of your hard-earned profits taken away," the man continues.
"That's true, but you know why people don't leave this town?" The man looks out the window.
"Because they love their work. They can't just abandon their passion, right?" David replies, a smile spreading across his face.
"Exactly," the man agrees.
After their conversation, David heads toward Steven Loss Mountain.
He reaches the edge of Aden Peter's territory but stays at a distance. He sees the territory perched on top of a cliff.
Steven Loss Mountain is snow-covered, and David's surroundings are blanketed in white; he can see nothing but snow.
"Thanks to the map that Cappuccino gave me, finding this place is easy. Now I just have to take down the Peter brothers," David prepares for a fight.
Suddenly, he hears a gunshot.
He ducks just in time.
What if they discover I'm here and figure out where the shot came from? David thinks.
He spots a tree nearby that has been shot, a small piece of rock lodged in it from the impact.
David is stunned...
But before he can react, another rock strikes him, and he faints.
Someone runs toward him.
The figure reaches David, checks him over, and spots his golden pistol.
They try to take it, but David grabs their hand and flips them onto the ground.
He pulls the scarf away from their face.
It's a girl.
"What? You're a lady?" David exclaims, shocked.
She spits in his eye.
David releases her, and she gets up, taking his gun and aiming it at him.
David wipes his eyes and looks at her.
She wears a full white sweater with a blue scarf and transparent round glasses. Her long white hair frames her beautiful eyes.
"Oh, that's a wooden gun you made yourself," David observes, surprised.
"That's none of your business, bastard," she snaps angrily.
"I'm going to kill you, you f*cking Aden servant!" she threatens.
"Servant?" David's anger flares as he draws his gun and aims it at her. "I'm not a servant to anyone, you b*tch. I'm a cowboy here to take down the Peter brothers."
She looks taken aback.
"You're here to kill the Peter brothers?"
"Yeah."
She lowers her gun and says, "Okay, let's talk this out."
David looks confused.
"I don't have time to talk! I need to take out the Peter brothers. Goodbye."
"Are you going to kill the Aden brother by yourself?"
"Oh, one of the brothers is named Aden, huh?"
"You don't even know his name?" She sounds annoyed.
"Yeah, what's the point of knowing someone's name when he's about to be dead?"
"I won't let you do that!" she shouts.
"Why not?"
"Because my sister is trapped there. If you do something reckless, it could cause problems for her." Her tone turns sad.
"Then I'll rescue your sister after I take down his ass. How does that sound?"
"Can you really do that?" she asks in a soft tone.
"Yeah, I already beat his younger brother, so it's no big deal."
"What!!!" She looks shocked and moves closer. "You're the one who killed Mark Peter?" she asks, staring him down.
"Yeah, but it wasn't a clean kill," he admits awkwardly.
She suddenly hugs him.
"So you're saying you're here to kill Aden Peter, right?"
"Hm, yeah."
"Then I'll help you kill him, and you help me get my sister back. Is that okay?"
He places a hand on her shoulder and gently pushes her away. "Hey, lady, I don't need anyone's help, you understand? Now leave me alone," he says seriously.
"Please, let me help! I can do anything! Even if you go there now, Aden Peter isn't here."
David looks shocked. "How did you know—"
She interrupts him. "I also know how to enter the territory and how to defeat him. If you give me a chance, I can prove it to you. Please, just hear me out." She looks down, sadness written all over her face.
"Okay, I'll hear you out."
She smiles.
"Then let's go to my place. Come on."
"Okay, get on my horse."
"I'm fine walking. I'll catch up with you later—"
He interrupts her. "It'll take you forever to get there on foot, so let's go. We don't have much time, do we?"
"Alright then."
She gets on the horse, and the two ride back toward town.
"Oh no! Someone found out about our territory!" One of Aden's men in the watchtower spots them through binoculars.
