"What's the best way to break a woman"
That was the only way Xander could put his anger in words. He could have ask how to hurt a woman but he doesn't want to hurt Hermia, he want to break her. He wanted her family to abandon her so she could feel lonely the same he did for the last three years of their marriage.
He couldn't believe he once loved someone like her. Now he understood what someone said about love being blind.
"Hmm, women... " Hunter started breaking him out of his thought.
"Yes, what are you saying?" the new chairman asked, crossing his arm over his chest, leaning into his seat.
"Women are known for their sneaky fights, if you want to break a woman your have do be sneaky about it" Hunter answered, he was squeezing his hand behind him, he was sure his undershirt was soaked.
'Who ask those kind of question in an interview' he shouted mentally but kept a straight calm face to the men in front of him.
"So what do you suggest?" Xander asked again, getting interested in what Hunter was saying.
"Women get triggered when they are jealous, so I am saying you could make her jealous for starters and how she respond suggest your next move" Hunter replied, he crossed his finger behind him waiting another silly question.
"Okay, you are hired, go through payment details with Max and you start working now" Xander said then he stood up and left the office, possibly to get his lunch. One out of many other problem was solved.
"Yes!" Hunter released a happy shout when Xander closed the door behind him. He had to contain himself from doing a happy dance in front of Max who still looked shocked at the new chairman impulsive behavior.
Finally, things were going Hunter's way after three years.
"So much like his mother, so impulsive" Max sighed and gave Hunter a form to fill in his payment details.
After he did that, Max advice to quickly have his lunch before he is needed. It took him a bit struggle to get his lunch as there was more workers than expected due to the interview for the personal assistant position.
"They got good food here" Hunter said as salivate the bit he had taken from his chicken. Just then his phone rang in his pocket, he wiped his finger on a napkin before taking out his phone to answer the call.
The number calling him was an unknown number but he answered him because it could get a good news at any moment.
"Hunter" the stoic voice came through as he answered the call. He didn't need to think twice to know it was his new boss.
"Yes, sir" Hunter answered, hungrily looking at his lunch
"Wrap up whatever you are doing and come to my office"
"Sir, I'm.. " the line went dead before he could finish his sentence.
He didn't expect to face this kind of treatment again. What was he expecting? That the new chairman might be considerate because he had humble background.
"They are the same regardless" he mumble and hesitatly left his lunch.
"Sir" he called as he entered his office
"You are here, let's go" Xander said, taking his phone and leaving the office. Hunter had no choice but to follow behind him.
"If I may ask, sir where are we going" Hunter asked when they got into the elevator.
"To get a tool to make woman jealous"
'A tool?' Hunter thought and shrugged it off.
It was after the said that statement he realized how heartless he sounded. He was calling a human a tool, what was he turning to. He never knew he could hold so much grudge like that. What's done is done it wasn't like Hunter had the right to correct him.
They reached the entertainment company under XL conglomerate, an office was "already arranged for him since they were informed of his arrival by Max.
It wasn't long" after he and his assistant had settled than beautiful female actresses filed in. They looked beautiful with their face caked with makeup but they weren't up to Xander taste.
He examined them one after the other but got all disappointed since they were all willing to please him, using the most girlish tone their voice box could create. He didn't need a second handbag that would be clingy and expecting things from him.
They thought he needed a play thing to kill his boredom since it was normal for high class men to do so and these girls wete eager for shortcut. Regardless, Xander knew what he wanted. He needed someone with personality and ready for a slow war, one he is about to start.
Just then someone clicked to his brain.
"Hunter, we are leaving" he said, he voice sounding commanding. His assistant hurriedly followed him to the car.
"We are leaving just like that?" He asked as the driver started the car.
"I don't need a plastic doll" he replied his voice emphasing on "plastic"
Hunter couldn't be more surprised as they stopped at the shopping mall. Without questions, he followed his boss into the mall and for the first time since he started working he saw Xander smile. Looking at the instrument of such expression, he shrugged when he saw it was a female attendant.
To Xander nobody fit into the role he wants to be played better than Randy. He could help but smile when he saw Helena questioning Randy.
Just as he expected, she bit on the bait but he didn't expect it to be so quick. Whichever is good.
As he walked closer he was able to hear their conversation more like a one side argument.
"Tell me where to find him!" Helena said infuriated for the third since she got to the mall. This was the first time she wasn't coming to mall for shopping.
"Please ma, I only know where you can find good jewelries please find another person to ask" Randy answered politely, clenching her jaw. She was a minute away from grab this girl by the hair and slamming her face into the glasscase. She glared at her wristwatch waiting for strike the last minute for her shift to be over.
Time looked like it was slower down like the almighty wanted to punish her. She couldn't act impulsively or she would lose her job.
"Are you his girlfriend now, I expected his taste to be high after he married my sister" Helena said irritated, getting impatient as minutes passes. Her mind was going through many scenarios of what Xander was doing that he hasn't come back to beg for his daughter. He couldn't have forgotten about her and moved on, right?
"I'm not his girlfriend, ma" Randy said as formally and politely as she could, the woman in front of her was very annoying. She wonders where they evening constumers have gone to leaving her to suffer with Helena. They usually have lot of constumers in this section but today was rather different.
"No need to lie, you were such a confident gold digger the other day, he won't date you in his right mind set" Helena snorted and was ready to leave. That's when Xander decide to step in.
"What if I want to date her?" Xander asked with a satisfied smirk on his face.
