"Yes and no, Kiros. They wanted me to give this to you," said Lyra, handing Kiros a golden medallion.
"Take the medallion, and everything you need to know is in there."
Kiros hesitated, but curiosity got the better of him. As soon as he took the medallion, it turned into a golden liquid that entered his body, transforming into a heavy golden armor with red and black details.
In front of Kiros' eyes, a transparent panel displayed his information.

Kiros tried to be surprised, but he didn't have time as a massive headache struck him, bringing important information about who his parents were and why they had died.
They were Firolaw Ultratus and Magdalena Magnus Ultratus, his father being a general of a fallen kingdom and his mother a princess whom his father had rescued from that kingdom, falling in love with each other along the way.
This armor was a unique production of the kingdom that had been copied by the surrounding realms. "Runic Armor" was the name adopted by the kingdoms nearby.
Anyone could use a common version of this armor and awaken latent power in their bodies (not Kiros', which had been made especially for him, permanently fusing with his body when he put it on).
With some training, everyone could also see their own status. However, to see others' statuses, one would either need their voluntary exposure or be trained in secret techniques of mental invasion.
