Before Levi could get back to the room, Jade had fallen asleep. He pulled the covers over her and lay next to her. Levi couldn't understand what was happening; of all the people in this world to have enemies, it wouldn't be Jade, or it shouldn't be her. He let his mind wander until he finally fell asleep.
The next morning, Jade woke up to find the space beside her empty. She knew he slept there because she could feel the warmth radiate from his body all night. It was hard for her to just close her eyes and not imagine his hands all over her body. Jade went to her room to take a quick shower and decide what she would do with her free time today.
Coming downstairs after her shower, she was greeted with a hug by Skylar. She didn't know they were visiting, but of course, the more, the merrier. "Hey, fancy seeing you here," Jade said walking down the stairs.
"Dad said he was coming here and I tagged along, just for you," Skylar replied.
