Jade walked briskly to Dr. Nate's office; if not for the fact that he had personally given her a call, she would've avoided him and just gone home. But he called and asked her to stop by if she hadn't gone home yet. It didn't help that he knew her check-up days, and he was the owner of the goddamn hospital.
Finally, Jade got to the door of his office. She took in a deep breath and twisted the door handle- Then she heard Keith's voice, so she hesitated and removed her hand from the door; she'll just wait and go in when he's done with Keith.
As she was about to turn around, she heard her name. It was rude to eavesdrop, but the conversation did not seem like Keith was getting medical advice. They were talking about her and Levi and, surprisingly, Theo. Jade knew that if she opened the door, this particular conversation would end because Dr. Nate said, "Jade can't know about this".
