Jade waited for Claire in front of her apartment, Levi was skeptical about letting her go and leaving her to wait, but she insisted, and well, he wouldn't exactly say no to her. But there was a compromise, which was he would wait with her till Claire came, and then he would leave them.
"Are you sure you still want to wait, it's pretty cold," Levi asked, his hands buried in the pockets of his coat.
"She should be here any minute, I think; just wait a little longer," Jade replied. That sounded like she was trying to reassure herself instead.
Levi nodded, and they continued waiting until, finally, Claire strolled down the parking lot to the front of the building. She was holding a bag of supplies, christmas supplies. Seems like they weren't the only ones who were late on the decorations.
Claire widened her eyes as she got closer to them, "It's really cold, don't tell me you've been standing out here?" She asked.
