I knew I was in a fantasy world but, I honestly hadn't expected the academy campus to be this large. If I had to compare it to something I'd say probably those massive college grounds like yale. That being said the sheer diversity of beauties I've seen since entry on the compound was honestly surprising.
'I got my work cut out for me.'
Whilst I was busy contemplating my future conquest, Orphelia; being the lost puppy she is, was looking around at students . 'Probably trying to find a friend. Or maybe directions? She is zoro 2.0 afterall.'
Okay maybe I was exaggerating, but she definitely is close to being just as bad.
I suppose it's time to head to the assembly.

"My name is Solaris Rien and I'm your class home room teacher for the next year. You may address me as Miss Rien understood. Welcome to Laertes Academy, of all the instructors I accept bad behavior the least. Respect me, follow the rules and we'll be fine. That being said I know that isn't possible for a few of you."
I..I think I've fallen in love.
"Right well that's all I have ta say for the first day. Use this time to introduce yourself to each other you little shits."
'Ah.'
She didn't bother trying to hide it this time. One of two things were clear from miss Rein's introduction, she was either very foul mouthed or she just didn't think very much of us.
"Well I suppose I'll start us off then!"
Jotting me out of my thoughts a reasonably handsome boy began speaking.
"My name is Leon Althera, as most of you should already know...I'm the second prince of the Alther kingdom. Due to certain circumstances I was away for the first year. However, I'm glad to be here now and I hope to be great friends with all of you! Please don't let my position stop you from coming up to me!"
'Seems like a nice guy, at a first glance that is.'
The esteemed Leon, although having a wonderful introduction, made two mistakes that led to my suspicion of his character.
While his first sentence "Most of you should already know." could be referring to students who came from kingdoms aside from Alther, he mistakenly glance in my direction as if hinting he was referring to me; or should I say the past me.
Dirius, or rather the Hendrix twins were known idiots in the Alther kingdom. As such, our character descriptions should already be widely known. Orphelia and I were lucky while we were in town due to that fact no one would suspect that those twins would wear rags out in public.
However now that we are properly dressed it shouldn't be hard to distinguish who we were...as I doubt that there were many long hair tan skinned nobles aside from the Hendrix family.
His second mistake was his eyebrow twitching when he said "I hope to be great friends with you all."
While not very many would notice; those that were paying attention should have caught it.
'Though I suppose I'm the weirdo for giving it so much thought. Either way, that prince is definitely hiding a second face.'
Given his looks I was sure Orphelia had probably started checking him out by now. While not her type his baby blue eyes, v shaped jawline and dusty white hair would still be eyecatching regardless. Coupled with his babyface and shiba inu like demeanor, I could already tell Orphelia would have a field day teasing this kid.
"I-I'll go next then."
A cute sounding voice resounded through the class.
"My name is Alexia Keth!"
After saying that she immediately sat back down.
'Surely that wasn't it right?'
"..That's it thank yvu!"
...She bit her tongue.

After Alexia's totally not nervous introduction I couldn't really be asked to pay attention. Besides a few that stuck out to me like Tera Finres and the 100% original not stolen Kurt Von Ritzburg, everyone else seemed too...bland?
The love of my life left through the door after calling us little shits, that cat girl Alexia looked too young and Tera just looked like a d*sney princess that probably thought you get pregnant from kisses.
Safe to say no other woman in the class particularly interested me.
'Well I guess it's my turn.'
"My name is Dirius Hendrix as a few of you may already know. I'm here to learn about magic and miss Solaris Rein."
I smirked before continuing
"I do hope that you lot could overlook my past actions, I don't bite...unless you want me to."
I had said that last line barely above a whisper; however it seemed a few people still heard me. One of them in particular being the bitch that confronted Orphelia earlier.
"You hear that? The cursed idiot wants to learn magic!"
The non plagiarized Ritzburg seemed to have something to say about my introduction seeing as he started yelling, causing a few others to laugh at me.
"I see, perhaps I had said something funny mr. Ritzburg? Would you like to share it with the class? Seeing as you so rudely interjected y'know. I assume you wanted the spotlight on you to draw back the attention of your fiance that ditched you."
This was a reach.
I had no idea if this Kurt had the same backstory as the character I was thinking of...but. Given his reaction I seemed to hit the nail on the head.
The focus of the laughter switched from me to him.
"If that's all then best of luck! I'm routing for you Kurt~!"
'I'm sooo not routing for him.'
Though what he said was definitely concerning. I'll have to look into what he meant by cursed.
"Hey everyone. My name is Orphelia Hendrix, the ever alluring and confident Lady that stands before you. Rumors of my escapades are likely widespread but to hell with that. New gossip can always over shadow the deeds of the past so I'm going to do a complete 180. I'll continue to amuse you but in a different method. Like my brother stated I'll also become a great mage and to add on a true genius noble by all means and rights. Laugh, doubt or even stand in awe if you'd like because I do enjoy praise. I know I'll leave a lasting impression."
'This nerd. Wait....why the hell is that two faced asshole blushing!?'
A few more words were exchanged between classmates but after what happened to Kurt no one really felt like speaking up against us again. That being said though, in the remaining free time we had before classes end I made zero friends.
'Quiet mysterious act for me it seems.'

Her face twisted in visible disgust at the new nickname I had given her.
"It was good DirDir. I even made a friend today, unlike you."
"Low blow."
"Guess leaving me to wolves this morning didn't work in your favor huh~. You didn't even manage to pick up one girl today since you were too busy simping over miss Rein."
"Okay first of all, It's not call simping. It's more so admiration for the maturity of our teacher. Secondly! You didn't exactly pick up either y'know. It was more like you got picked up by that rip off sleeping beauty friendship is magic chick."
"You're just jealous she isn't your friend. Bet you wanted that whole friends to lovers trope; but guess what, you got nothing!"
"...Meany."
I mock pouted.
That seemed to irritated the shit out of Orphelia though as she knee'd me in the stomach.
"Don't ever do that shit again."
"Got it."
I nodded immediately.
"So what now?"
"Dorm exploration, duh."
Saying that I ditched her yet again. I wanted to see her directionally challenged ass find her way without me.
