"I can't believe you were only talking to me to taunt monsters." Sheila said.
"Of course not. I care about you and you seemed quite sad, so I wanted to cheer you up."
"Nice try, but I won't believe you."
"Hey, Sheila, now that you're quite at my level, we should start splitting the meat evenly now. What do you think?"
"Makes sense. Sure, let's do it like this."
"I think the plan worked."
"What do you mean?" Sheila asked.
"There is a monster coming. Prepare for battle. I'll tank it and you kill it." Allan said.
She nodded and unsheathed her sword.
Allan used a mind spell for taunting monsters that was written in the [Mind Waterfall] manual. He had been using this spell for a while now that he felt confident in his soul power. The monsters didn't have the strength to resist the taunt and attacked mindlessly.
A flaming leopard pounced Allan from behind a bush and hit the latter's dark cloak. Soon Sheila appeared from the side and beheaded the flaming leopard in a single motion.
"Why your mind technique have some many spells listed? In mine there is only the cultivation method." Sheila asked.
"I don't really know. I guess priest Bruno was a nice guy. He helped me a lot." Allan continued. "I think he left behind his personal notes. These spells are not written in with the same calligraphy from the cultivation method and the paper is somewhat different."
"The priest from my village was a jerk. He tried to seduce me. It was very annoying. If I didn't force him to give me the spell, I think he would've been trying to woo me all the way."
"I guess it can't be helped. Not everyone is nice."
They kept talking while travelling and hunting, they talked about many things and their friendship was getting stronger by the minute. The monsters were also popping out from nowhere being attracted by the sound, which further increased their hunting efficiency."
When evening arrived, Allan checked his spatial bracelet and it was filled with monster corpses.
"My bracelet is full. Time to refine the meat. Let's stop here and cultivate through night." Allan told Sheila.
"It's the first time you filled the bracelet. Today harvest was very good." She said.
The rest of the journey was very uneventful. Two days passed again very fast. When they logged out. Allan looked at his girl lying on bed also waking up. He started caressing her they began to fool around.
"I missed you. It's been days since we haven't had a proper time together. It feels kind of weird spending time with another woman." Allan told Tory.
"I know, I've been kind of feeling this way as well. But at least Keith is a block head. He is not as charming as you. He only knows how to fight and there is nothing else in his mind."
"He must been putting on an act for his stream. He must've been streaming all the monster fights."
"Yeah, he told me that people on stream started asking him how he manage to start cultivating already."
"That is a problem. Let's hope he hasn't replied anyone yet."
"I told him to give a vague answer like he found a technique randomly together with a crystal."
"Well done. It'll remove the suspicion from him for a while."
"He also has been eating the meat every time we kill a monster. That way he has an excuse for eating monster meat."
"How is your battle experience going these days?"
"I can solo monsters with my fists now, but It's mostly because of my stats. I let Keith do all the fighting though, he likes it and it helps his stream." Tory said.
"Let's go meet with the others now. We have stuff to do today." Allan said.
They arrived at Sheila's place and she was already cooking breakfast.
"Does she cook breakfast for you when you're travelling?" Tory asked with a hint of jealousy in her voice.
"Nope, we eat raw."
"What!? it must be disgusting." Tory exclaimed.
"Not really, I got used to it already. We eat around couple dozen monsters per day, so it would take a huge amount of time to cook every single one." Allan explained.
Keith and Sasha just arrived when Allan was finished explaining.
"That is disgusting. You should cook you meat before eating, so you don't get sick." Keith said.
"The is no way we can get sick, there is a fire in our stomach when we refine the monster flesh. Remember?" Allan said.
"No way, it's still disgusting." Keith said.
"So what are the plans for today?" Jasper said.
"There isn't much of a plan. We'll just borrow one of the guns from Brad and his group and shoot Jonatan from a distance. I think it'll be much better than trying to kill him by fighting melee. This way the police won't like the murder with cultivators."
"It seems so simple when you're talking like this. Luckily I'm not your enemy, I'm starting to be afraid of you now." Keith said.
"And his father?" Jasper asked.
"Same strategy at the same time." Allan said. "Actually Jasper, Sheila asked me to not participate in this operation. If you wish you can stay behind and be with her. This extends to all of you as well, If there is someone that doesn't want to participate, you can stay behind."
Sheila looked at Jasper as if asking him to stay with her. He understood her gaze the most. "I'll stay. Tell me if you guys need anything."
