Nighttime soon arrived at Allan's villa. After and extensive chat with Tory, they both logged into the game.
"Welcome Sheila. How are you?" Allan welcome Sheila as she had logged some minutes later.
"I'm fine. I'm better now to be honest. My parents helped me a lot. Jasper was also there so we managed to get through this very easily."
"It's so good that you guys can be harmonious. Tory's parents hate me."
"It's alright. They'll be moving to the villa tomorrow. We bought them VR helmets, they are playing already."
"That's good. When are you visiting Jasper parents?"
"I'm not sure yet. But I think we're going there on Sunday. Tomorrow I'll help my parents settle down at the villa."
"I really don't want to leave the game today. I'm going with Tory see her parents. At least I know that they can't do anything to me now physically. But mentally, I'm not prepared."
"So even you have a weakness." Sheila chuckled.
"Haha, It's true."
"Just relax and deal with it as it comes. As long as you're in the right, there is nothing to worry about." She reassured him. They kept talking and hunting as they time went on. Soon two days passed.
Allan and Tory woke side by side and got ready to leave. They both were kind of nervous. But after yesterday's chat, they had never felt closer to one another. Soon they arrived at Tory's family villa.
Thomas and Laura were already waiting for them. "Victoria Goldstein. You finally remember you have a family." Thomas said.
"I've always know I had an overbearing family." She retorted.
"And you have the face to come here, even though you are not welcome." Thomas said to Allan.
"I don't have anything to say to you. If it wasn't because Tory loves you, we might not even be here today." Allan replied back.
"Stop it you both. From today onwards we are going to be allies, can't you stop bickering."
"Allies, what do you mean?" Thomas said.
"Let's get inside first and I'm going to explain." Tory said.
Allan shrugged. He was a proud man and lately he has been short fused. He was reacting to the slightest provocation unconsciously.
Soon they made way to the living room.
"What do you have to tell us that you couldn't tell us on the phone?" Thomas asked.
"Two things." Tory said. "The first one is a small matter so I'll say it first. We killed the Billers yesterday."
"You what? Why didn't you ask us to do it for you?" Thomas was shocked.
"It's because of the second reason." Tory said.
"Oh." Thomas was surprised. Killing people wasn't something he wanted his loved daughter to be part of.
"Not really." Allan interjected. "We killed them because they wanted to kill us first. I'm not leaving my enemies alive."
Thomas was surprised. He didn't expect that Allan was like this. He didn't like Allan because he thought that Allan was a weakling and poor. So he didn't bother talking with Allan before. He never knew that Allan had guts before.
"What do you mean they wanted to you dead first?" Thomas asked.
"They sent assassins. Simple as that. So we retaliated." Allan said nonchalantly.
"Outrageous. If I had know before I would make them suffer myself. How could they set their targets on my daughter." Thomas was furious.
"Allan, it does have to do with the second reason. If we were not preparing for the future, we wouldn't need to do it ourselves." Tory said.
"I guess you're right." Allan said.
"And the second reason? I even more curious now." Thomas asked.
"Have you ever heard of cultivators in this country?" Allan asked before Tory could say anything. Allan wanted to know how knowledgeable was Tory's family.
"Not really. You mean to say that the cultivators from the game exist in this world?" Thomas asked with a hint of suspicion.
"So you have been playing the game seriously. That's good. It's gonna make the talk much smoother." Allan said.
"Speak already." Thomas urged.
"Cultivation exists in this world. We came here to teach you how to cultivate and tell you our findings." Allan said calmly.
"Why did you only come today? Why didn't you tell us earlier?" Thomas asked furiously.
"We couldn't. Yesterday we had to deal with the Billers. Today we came here to teach you. Tomorrow I'll teach my parents." Allan said. "Don't say anything over the phone. I found out that the government already knew about cultivators even before the game. We couldn't tell you over the phone. We could only ask you to play the game."
"I see. So you plan to keep a low profile until things get out of control."
"I guess you have reached my same conclusion." Allan said.
"What do you plan by telling us this? What do you gain?" Thomas asked.
"Nothing really." Allan said.
"It was me who wanted you to learn." Tory said.
"Makes sense, you never think too much with your brain, but with your heart." Thomas said.
"Is that the way to speak with your daughter?" Laura reprimanded him. She had been listening all this while was shocked as well.
"Mom, it doesn't matter, I know how my father really is." Tory said. "Anyways, we came here with good intentions, so let's stop bickering. It's annoying."
"Let's start. I'm going to teach you today and you can teach your sons in the future. But don't teach anyone outside here. What I'm about to teach you is heaven defying."
Soon they engrossed in teaching Thomas and Laura about cultivation and the method to increase the spiritual root by consuming monster flesh. They spent the whole day like this. By evening, Allan managed to teach everything he knew and he also left behind some books explaining cultivation that he had prepared beforehand. This way they wouldn't need to consult with him later.
After the morning, Thomas wasn't so annoying anymore. He humbled himself when he found out that Allan and Tory were already very advanced in level and they were pretty strong already. Allan and Tory did some demonstration of power throughout the day and it deeply impressed Thomas. He deeply desired this power now. In the end he was very grateful to both Allan and Tory and his hostility was fully dispersed when they showed him everything they knew and the complete method to become strong.
