Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 - Shocking truth

Sheila started eating and refining all monsters that had the wood and water element. Allan refined the others. His water spiritual root was weak but it was better to give some advantage to Sheila before revealing the truth in real life.

He had tried to cultivate all his elements in real life and he noticed that somehow the spiritual roots were being transferred to the real world, since his cultivation speed was somewhat the same in both words in each element. So he decided to improve his spiritual root as much as he could in this parallel world before cultivating in real life.

When they finished refining all the monster flesh, the time was almost up. "I see you soon. bye." Allan said.

"See you." Sheila replied back.

When Allan woke up, he looked at Tory that was also waking up. "Hey I talked with Sheila in game, she told us to go to her house instead and she'll cook breakfast for us."

"Alright. I kind of like her cooking."

"I know, darling, that why I agreed." Then he kissed her and both went to take a shower. But before he sent a message in their group about the change of plans, and to go to Sheila's house instead.

"Let's take an uber there. I know it's close. But we can cultivate on the way." Tory said.

"Good idea. I'll order it right away."

Soon they arrived at Jasper and Sheila's home. Sheila was already cooking and Jasper received them. "So Allan, what is it so important?"

"Wait for the others to come. This is too important, trust me. So important that I don't want to even let anyone hear it. That's why I suggested us to go to my house. Since there won't be anyone eavesdropping like it might happen at the cafe."

"Wow, I'm super curious now.

Soon, Keith and Sasha arrived as well.

"Hmm, the smell is good. It was nice of you Sheila to cook for all of us." Keith said.

"I liked cooking, and it's also healthier." Sheila replied.

"Alright, now that everyone is here and breakfast is ready. Let's announce it already." Allan said.

"Please do. You're making everyone anxious already."

"Alright. Here it goes. Cultivation exists in real life."

"What?" Keith and Sasha shouted in shock.

Jasper and Sheila had a shocked expression in their faces but they were quiet.

"Do you know what this entails?" Allan asked.

"Wait a moment, let's go back to the first topic. Cultivation exists. How do you know?" Asked Sasha.

"Last night, when Tory and I were heading back home, we talked about how I was able to be so fierce when we were fighting. I told her that I was meditating like I did in Parallel Online out of habit when I was resting." Allan explained. "She asked me what if it was true and we could cultivate in real life. I told her why don't we try? And soon we found the answer. Now you know why I couldn't tell you over the phone right?"

"I broke through! great!" Tory shouted from the back. She was cultivating this whole time when Allan was explaining the others.

"Fuck, we're already behind. Let's begin right away." Keith said. He was very competitive.

"Wait a little. Let's eat first while we talk." Allan said.

"Yeah, wait a little." Jasper said. "So it means that we're not the only ones that can cultivate right?"

"Possibly there are cultivator in this world even before the game was released. But soon it will explode in our faces so we need to make plans." Allan said. "I was thinking on all of us moving together. Buying a large villa and live together so that we can practice and cultivate in peace without others disturbing us."

"It'll quite of squeeze us dry, but I'm pretty sure we can afford it." Said Jasper.

"We don't have to pay in full, we can pay it in many months, this way it won't be hard on any of us. Soon we'll be selling treasures of the game online and recover our money." Allan suggested.

"Why do we have to live together? I quite don get it." Keith asked.

"The world is going to change, people with 'superpowers' will try to force us one way or the other. Probably even try to rise to power through strength. It'll be very difficult for us to try to protect each other if we are apart. Also we won't have to show our powers in public when we're practicing and it'll make hiding other secrets easier as well." Jasper explained. He grasped the situation as soon as Allan told them about cultivation.

"I think that in game spiritual root can be transferred to the real world. So it'll take a little for other players to start cultivating in real life, since it'll take them a while to figure that, after all, they'll require treasures to begin cultivating in game in the first place. So most players are in the dark about cultivation even in game. But soon, some attention seeker will spoil the beans. And that's when the world will begin to change." Allan said.

"If that's the case. Are we sure we want to sell stuff to other players since that will allow them to cultivate in real life as well?" Sheila asked.

"We of course can because we're going to be the strongest in both worlds. After all, we have the jump start and an infinitely growing technique. All we need now are better cultivation techniques and monster resources. So I'm planning that once we're all together in game, we can go monster hunting together. I'm pretty sure we will find many treasures in the wilderness. Those we can sell if they don't benefit us."
