Day 44:
9:00 AM – Woke up to the soothing sounds of...silence? After the glitch-induced elevator music marathon yesterday, the quiet was almost unnerving. Seraphina and I shared breakfast, wondering what bizarre twist today might bring.
Interlude – Breakfast Banter:
Seraphina: "Do you think today will be quiet?" Vortax: "If it is, it'll be the first time since I got here."
10:00 AM – While overseeing the minions' daily tasks, I noticed a strange, flickering portal forming in the courtyard. This was new. Usually, portals involved dragons, treasures, or unfortunate heroes.
11:00 AM – Decided to investigate the portal. As I approached, it spat out a figure dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, looking more confused than a chicken in a fox den.
Interlude – Unexpected Arrival:
Visitor: "Uh, where am I? And why does it smell like...socks?" Vortax: "Welcome to my humble abode. We're still working out some post-glitch issues."
12:00 PM – The visitor introduced himself as Ted, a tech support guy from the real world. Apparently, he'd been sucked into the game while trying to fix a bug. His bewilderment quickly turned to fascination as he took in the surroundings.
1:00 PM – Decided to show Ted around the castle. The minions were fascinated by him, treating him like some sort of exotic animal. He seemed particularly interested in our defenses, especially the moat filled with custard.
Interlude – Tour Time:
Grog: "Hey Ted, ever seen a pie catapult before?" Ted: "Uh, no. But I'm starting to think I need one in my office."
2:00 PM – Ted mentioned he might be able to help with our lingering glitches, so we headed to the control room. Watching him work was like watching a wizard cast a spell, except with more typing and fewer sparks.
3:00 PM – While Ted was working, a sudden power surge caused the PA system to blare "Baby Shark" on repeat. Ted's face was a mix of horror and amusement. We all agreed that some glitches were better left alone.
Interlude – Musical Mayhem:
Seraphina: "Max, make it stop! This song is going to drive us mad!" Vortax: "Ted, any chance you can work a miracle here?"
4:00 PM – Managed to get the music under control, but not before the minions had choreographed an impromptu dance routine. Ted was laughing so hard, he nearly fell off his chair. He seemed to be fitting right in.
6:00 PM – Ted worked his tech magic, fixing some of the more persistent glitches. The color-changing walls settled back to their original hues, and the floating objects finally landed. The minions cheered, and Ted looked as proud as a cat with a canary.
Interlude – Victory Lap:
Seraphina: "Ted, you've saved us from a life of endless 'Baby Shark.' How can we ever repay you?" Ted: "Just don't let me get sucked back into a custard moat, and we'll call it even."
8:00 PM – Celebrated with a feast in the courtyard, filled with (thankfully) glitch-free food. Ted regaled us with stories of the real world, and we shared our own tales of adventure and absurdity.
10:00 PM – As the night wound down, Ted mentioned he needed to find a way back to the real world. We promised to help him, knowing that if anyone could figure it out, it would be us.
End of Day 44
Diary Commentary – Vortax (formerly known as Max):
Today was a day of unexpected visitors and technological triumphs. Ted's arrival brought a new perspective and a lot of laughs.
