Chapter 48 - Day 48: Pranks and Practical Jokes

Day 48:

9:00 AM – Woke up with a mischievous glint in my eye. Seraphina noticed immediately and asked what I was planning. I simply grinned and said, "You'll see."

Interlude – Morning Mystery:

Seraphina: "You look like you're up to something." Vortax: "Who, me? I'm just planning a little...entertainment."

10:00 AM – Decided to kick off the day with a classic prank: the whoopee cushion. Placed one on Grog's favorite chair in the dining hall. The minions gathered for breakfast, unaware of the impending hilarity.

11:00 AM – Grog sat down, and the whoopee cushion did its job perfectly. The sound was like a goose with indigestion. Grog jumped up, looking around in confusion while the minions burst into laughter.

Interlude – Whoopee Cushion Chaos:

Grog: "What was that noise?!" Minion: "I think your chair's got a sense of humor, Grog."

12:00 PM – Moved on to the next prank: enchanted soap that turns hands different colors. Placed the soap in the bathroom and waited for the next victim. It didn't take long—Agnes emerged with bright blue hands, looking both confused and amused.

1:00 PM – To keep the momentum going, I enchanted some of the food in the kitchen to dance. Nothing too disruptive, just a little jig from the bread and a waltz from the cheese. The minions were delighted, though a bit wary of their lunch.

Interlude – Dancing Delights:

Minion: "Boss, the bread is doing the cha-cha!" Vortax: "Just goes to show, a meal should be entertaining from start to finish."

2:00 PM – While walking through the courtyard, I decided to pull a prank on Seraphina. Using a spell from the old book, I made a small, harmless cloud hover over her head, raining confetti instead of water. She laughed and playfully shook her fist at me.

3:00 PM – Next up: invisible ink for important documents. Left a note for Grog with instructions that only became visible when heated. Watching him try to decipher the blank paper was priceless.

Interlude – Invisible Ink Incident:

Grog: "Boss, I think this paper is broken." Vortax: "Try warming it up a bit, Grog. Maybe it needs a little encouragement."

4:00 PM – By now, the minions were on high alert, expecting pranks around every corner. To keep things interesting, I started a fake treasure hunt with clues that led them on a wild goose chase around the castle. The final clue led to a treasure chest filled with candy.

6:00 PM – The minions returned from the treasure hunt, happily munching on their candy. They'd had a great time, and the pranks had lightened the mood considerably. Seraphina and I shared a knowing smile, pleased with how the day had turned out.

Interlude – Treasure Hunt Triumph:

Seraphina: "You really outdid yourself today, Max." Vortax: "Just keeping everyone on their toes. And in stitches."

8:00 PM – Gathered everyone in the courtyard for a final prank: fireworks that spelled out funny messages in the sky. As the fireworks exploded, they formed words like "Gotcha!" and "Pranked!" The minions cheered, and the laughter echoed through the night.

10:00 PM – Ended the day with a sense of satisfaction. The pranks had been harmless fun, bringing everyone closer together. Seraphina and I retired to our chambers, happy to have shared another memorable day.
