Hades nodded. "Yes. See, Gatti is injured and he won't be able to go on this next mission for me. So you two will fill in for him".
Haze kept quiet, so Haze had finally involved him in the mission. How bad could it be though? For Gatti to be severely injured.
"Gatti is not too injured". Hades said suddenly, almost as if he could read Haze's mind. "It's just a minor one but I prefer if the people who went on this mission for me are in prime health. The conditions are… not very favorable".
"What is the mission?" Adam asked.
"I need you to retrieve something for me". Hades drawled. He looked at Haze. "You've been awfully quiet today Haze. Anything the matter?"
Haze said nothing in response. He simply shook his head.
"Is this about the other day?" Hades continued with his usual cold smile. "I was hoping we could put things behind us".
Haze didn't reply.
"What do you want us to retrieve for you?" Adam asked.
