The men got to Adam before he did and one of them kicked him back.
Haze struggled to stay on his feet and fight back but the men were on him in an instant.
They pushed him down onto the snow and held him there.
"This one's resisting the poison", He heard one of them say in a gruff voice.
"What? That's impossible", Another said.
"I'm telling ya. There's like ten needles on his body and he's still moving".
"Ten needles? He must be some type of god", The other replied.
"Give him a stronger dose and throw him in chains".
"No! Let me go", Haze mumbled through the snow as he kicked and trashed around violently.
Suddenly a syringe was driven into us neck.
Ahhhh~
Haze screamed as warm liquid was forced into his bloodstream.
He began to fall into darkness but one thought kept him conscious.
"My sword. Let me take me sword", He whispered hoarsely.
The men exchanged confused looks.
