Once upon a time there was a bunny.
Now, this was no ordinary bunny, this bunny was pink with long skinny arms and long skinny legs. This bunny had long floppy ears and I think that was how he got his name. His name was "Floppy Ears".
Floppy Ears and Sunshine Bunny were so excited to spend the afternoon making a craft together. They loved getting creative and making something special just for themselves.
Their mom, took them on a nature walk around the neighborhood to pick some leaves. "Let's find the brightest leaves we can find," she said, handing them each a small bag.
Floppy Ears and Sunshine Bunny eagerly searched the ground, searching for the most vibrant leaves. They spotted some brilliant red leaves from the Red Maple tree, and some shiny green leaves from the Oak tree. They carefully plucked the leaves from their branches and added them to their bags. Reds, yellows, greens...
Back at home, their mom gave them a large piece of Bristol board. "Now, let's glue our leaves onto the board," she said.
Floppy Ears and Sunshine Bunny got to work, carefully arranging their leaves on the board. They added some red maple leaves in the center, surrounded by green oak leaves, then some yellow. The leaves were all different shapes and sizes. They stepped back to admire their work, beaming with pride.
Next, their mom covered the board with plastic to protect the leaves from fading. "Now, let's add some finishing touches," she said.
Floppy Ears and Sunshine Bunny decided to add some colorful markers to their leafy design. They drew lines and patterns around the leaves, adding some extra flair to their masterpiece.
Finally, they hung their finished pictures on the wall in their bedrooms. Floppy Ears' picture was a beautiful shade of red and green, while Sunshine Bunny's picture was a vibrant mix of colors.
As they looked at their pictures, they couldn't help but feel proud of what they had created together. "I love our leafy picture!" Floppy Ears exclaimed.
Sunshine Bunny nodded in agreement. "Me too! It's so pretty and special."
Their mom smiled, happy to see her children so proud of their work. "You two are very talented artists," she said. "I'm so glad you enjoyed making this craft together."
Floppy Ears and Sunshine Bunny grinned at each other, already planning their next craft project. They knew that they would always treasure this special memory of making something together, just like their leafy masterpiece hanging on their bedroom walls.
