Once upon a time there was a bunny.

Now, this was no ordinary bunny, this bunny was pink with long skinny arms and long skinny legs. This bunny had long floppy ears and I think that was how he got his name. His name was "Floppy Ears".

One day Floppy Ears was in his back yard playing when he smelled a funny smell. He stopped swinging on his blue swing and looked around to try to see what was making the smell. Now you know Floppy Ears has a pretty good nose and good eyesight (from eating carrots).

He left his swing and started to follow his nose.

Floppy Ears had to walk through the deep woods in his back yard to find where the smell was coming from. As he walked through the woods he saw a building. He slowed down and peeked through the trees to see what was ahead.

Then he saw Mommy Bunny standing in the window. When she saw Floppy Ears Mommy Bunny called out the window "Floppy Ears could you come in here please."

Floppy Ears walked in and his mom said "Floppy Ears would you please help me clean up the toy room."

"But mom, I'm hunting for something that is making a yummy smell. It seems to be coming from near here."

Mom just smiled, "Floppy Ears, if you help me cleanup I will help you look for the smell".

"Well OK….." said Floppy Ears.

So mom and Floppy Ears set to work cleaning up the room. They put away all the toys, they picked up the blocks, they put the books on the shelves.

When they were done, Floppy Ears plopped down on the couch and said "I'm pooped, I can't work anymore."

"Well Floppy Ears," said mom, "do you want to find the smell now?"

"Ok."

"I've got an idea." mom said, "Lets check in the kitchen first."

So Floppy Ears and mom headed for the kitchen and then …

Floppy Ears saw it.

A big fresh carrot pie.

"Let's have a piece," suggested mom.

Well, Floppy Ears ran to the table and climbed up, then he got back down and ran to the fridge and got a glass of milk then he ran to the drawer and got two spoons.

"Ok mom, I'm ready!"

So mom and Floppy Ears sat down and enjoyed a big piece of pie.
