The feast last night was festive and went on throughout the night; nonetheless, the warriors couldn't prolong their stay and now must make their way back to Anvel city.
The group set off early in the morning, despite having a night-long party. However, the physical condition of warriors was different from that of ordinary humans; trivial things like an all-night party wouldn't tire them out.
On the first night of the group's departure, a white-haired man approached Alexander and Skeba, who were in the rear freight carriage.
The man was Barnes, who had been observing Alexander since yesterday and had devised a plan.
Barnes could easily kill Alexander, but there were rules among the warriors that forbade them from killing fellow humans, even ordinary ones. Plus, Anna would suspect Barnes if he did anything to Alexander.
Tonight, Barnes decided to give Alexander a gift that would make him suffer or even die.
"Hey, Alex, follow me!"
"Where are you going, Barnes?"
"Never mind, just follow me before I beat you until you can't walk anymore!"
Alexander then followed Barnes, with Skeba silently following them from behind.
Barnes and Alexander ventured into the forest, and after walking for quite some time, Barnes suddenly lashed out with a swift punch towards Alexander.
"Bang!"
After Alexander fell to the ground, Barnes proceeded to bind him with a special rope designed to prevent any ordinary human from breaking free.
"Hey, Barnes! What are you doing?"
"Calm down, Alexander; I'm going to give you a surprise."
Barnes then swiftly ran, carrying Alexander on his back, towards a nearby valley.
"Hahaha, farewell, Alexander; this is what you get for getting too close to my Anna."
Without explanation, Barnes tossed Alexander to the ground at the edge of the valley, leaving Alexander bewildered about Barnes's intentions.
Barnes quickly disappeared from Alexander's sight, leaving him bound on the ground.
Upon returning to the group, Barnes saw Anna walking towards the freight carriage, where Alexander was.
"Hey, Barnes, have you seen Alexander?"
"Alexander said he would come back by himself because he had something to attend to."
'Isn't that strange?' Anna thought. It was unlikely for Alexander to leave at night, especially with so many dangers outside.
"Where did you come from, Barnes?"
"I was just relieving myself. Are you missing me, my dear Anna?"
"Stop calling me that!"
Anna then left Barnes and immediately returned to the passenger carriage to rest with Anastasya inside.
In the forest near the valley, a young man with red hair writhed against the bindings restraining him. This man was Alexander, tied up by Barnes with a special rope, and left here.
"What was that idiot Barnes thinking?" Alexander wondered.
From a distance, Skeba, who had been silently following them from behind, immediately went to Alexander.
"Father, are you alright?"
"Quickly, untie this rope, Skeba."
"Alright, I'll try, Father."
Skeba then attempted to release the bindings on Alexander's body, but it ended in failure.
"Sorry, Father, it seems this will be difficult."
"Damn! Go, find Anna, and ask for help. I'll wait here."
"I can't, Father. I have to stay by your side because this situation is dangerous."
"Hey, Skeba, just do as I say! You staying here won't help me!"
"No, Father."
Alexander felt useless with Skeba by his side. He didn't even want to do what he was told and insisted on staying here with him.
Alexander continuously urged Skeba to seek help from Anna, as she was the only one who could help him at this moment.
While debating with Skeba and forcing him to leave to seek help from Anna, a sound was heard approaching them.
"AWOOOOOOOOOO!"
A howling sound from a bivorch could be heard nearing them.
Hearing this, cold sweat dripped down Alexander's body; this was a life-threatening moment.
"I'm done for; there's a bivorch approaching," Alexander said resignedly upon hearing the bivorch's roar.
"Hey, Skeba, carry me and get away from here!"
"Alright, Father."
Skeba then attempted to carry Alexander and take him away. With his small body, Skeba could easily lift Alexander.
This frustrated Alexander. 'If that's the case, I should have ordered him to carry me and leave earlier to rejoin the group.'
But before they could leave, the bivorch was already in front of them.
The bivorch was covered in wounds, possibly the one that had escaped yesterday.
"Damn, I guess I'll die here!" Alexander said it resignedly, feeling hopeless.
Nevertheless, though Bivorch was riddled with wounds, Alexander was just an ordinary human, and for Skeba, he even couldn't use any skills at all.
"Goodbye, world; I'm leaving now.", Alexander said farewell as if he had already resigned himself to death.
"Father, calm down; I'll protect you."
Skeba then gently put Alexander down on his back and stood in front of the bivorch.
"Hey, Skeba, you should run away. It's pointless for you to do this."
"No, Father, if you die, I'll disappear too."
"Bang!"
The bivorch attacked Skeba, and Skeba was thrown several meters away from the impact.
As Skeba was thrown, a sound was heard.

[Ding!]
[Does the host want to perform fusion?] [Yes/No]

Seeing this, Alexander was stunned as he looked at the system screen that appeared before him.
Alexander knew he had to help Skeba, but he himself was still bound all over his body.
Alexander's eyes then focused on the bottom part of the system screen. "Perform fusion?" Alexander was puzzled by the command at the bottom of the system screen.
'Is this how I will use the skills in the system?' Alexander wondered.
With this extremely urgent situation, Alexander didn't need to think much and immediately agreed to the system's 'fusion'.
"System, perform fusion!"

[Ding!]
[The host is about to perform fusion.]
----
"Bling!"
Suddenly, Alexander disappeared from where he was lying and was freed from the bindings that had restrained him. Alexander seemed to be sucked into a whirlpool.
