Chapter 11 - Divon Tiger

While Alexander and Skeba were strolling around Anvel City, they noticed a young man distributing leaflets. Intrigued, Alexander approached him and asked for a brochure.

"Can I have one of those brochures?"

"Of course, sir. Here you are."

Alexander received the brochure from the young man. It stated that the Tiger Guild was looking for workers to collect mana crystals, with no specific qualifications required. This meant that even ordinary humans could apply.

"This is very interesting. A large guild like the Tiger Guild is looking for workers to collect mana crystals."

Intrigued by the information, Alexander couldn't help but wonder about its accuracy. He decided to verify it by approaching the young man distributing the brochures.

"Excuse me, is the information on this brochure accurate?"

"Yes, sir, the information is correct. The Tiger Guild will be attacking one of the level 5 bivorch cities north of Anvel, so they will need workers to collect and transport the mana crystals."

"I see. Thank you for the information."

The staff member explained to Alexander that the Tiger Guild was planning a massive attack on one of the level 5 Bivorch City.

This explained their need for a large number of workers to collect and transport the mana crystals.

Alexander wanted to ask if there were any other job openings besides collecting mana crystals, but he decided against it. He knew that, as a Rank 0 Warrior, there wouldn't be any other positions available for him, especially not in such a large-scale war.

Even if there were, Alexander had to consider the potential consequences. The enemies he would face might be far more powerful than him, and even a Rank 1 Warrior like Barnes would be useless in such a large-scale battle.

Looking at the brochure once more, Alexander contemplated whether he should apply for the job of collecting mana crystals or not.

"Skeba, what do you think? Should we apply to become mana crystal collectors?"

"I think it's an interesting idea, Dad. We might even get the chance to take out some weak bivorches that are near death."

"I guess you're right. We'll give it a try, but..."

Alexander thought the idea wasn't bad. There might even be opportunities for him to level up.

However, the job was very risky. Although the mana crystal collectors would be far in the back and would only move in after the mission was completed, there was a chance that some bivorches could sneak into the back and attack them.

If they were only level 0 bivorches, Alexander wouldn't mind and might even welcome the chance to level up. However, if they were level 1 or level 2 bivorches, he would undoubtedly die there.

His life was more valuable than anything else. If he died, it would be over for him. If he stayed alive, even though it might be difficult for him to level up now, there would still be opportunities in the future.

Alexander was conflicted about whether to join as a mana crystal collector or not. There was a great chance of encountering some low-level bivorches that could help him level up a few more levels.

"I'd better not join this time. My gut tells me something bad will happen."

Alexander decided not to join this time. The offer, including the salary and opportunities, was great, but his intuition told him something bad would happen, causing him to be patient and wait for another opportunity.

Alexander and Skeba continued to stroll through Anvel City, looking for a guild that suited them. Alexander thought he needed to be patient and start from the bottom to level up.

He knew that nothing in this world was instant. Even so-called instant food required time to prepare before it could be eaten.

Shortly after Alexander received the brochure, news about the Tiger Guild's plan to attack the level 5 Bivorch City spread throughout the city and even the world.

This attack aimed to reclaim the area occupied by bivorches, which had become a threat to human life.

The Tiger Guild felt responsible as one of the largest and strongest guilds in the world to eliminate the threat to humanity.

In a tall, luxurious building, in the topmost room, a man in his forties sat on a plush sofa, cradling a glass of wine in his hand.

The man had an imposing physique compared to the average human, standing 2 meters tall with a muscular build. His white hair and beast-like eyes made anyone nearby feel intimidated and scared.

Shortly after, a man entered the room where the intimidating man was relaxing. The newcomer appeared to be in his thirties and seemed very weak compared to the man in front of him. He wore glasses, had green hair, and was dressed in a robe like a wizard.

"Good afternoon, Leader."

"So it's you, Raze. Do you have anything important to report?"

"Yes, Leader. It concerns our attack on the level 5 bivorch city. Our preparations are now 90% complete, and we are just waiting for your decision to launch the attack."

"Alright, we will launch the attack two weeks from now."

"Understood, Leader. I'll take my leave then."

The man who entered the room was Raze Breadly, the vice-leader of the Tiger Guild, and the man in front of him was Divon Tiger, the renowned leader of the Tiger Guild and a Rank 7 Warrior Beastman.

"I must handle various matters quickly. It's time for me to become the Rank 7 Warrior who conquers the level 5 Bivorch City."

Divon Tiger was determined. As a Rank 7 Warrior, he had to prove his qualifications. Currently, there were hundreds of Rank 7 Warriors, and those called Rank 7 Warriors usually proved their abilities by conquering a level 5 Bivorch City.

Even though it was just a level 5 Bivorch City, it couldn't be underestimated. The city's leader was a level 5 King Bivorch, who could easily kill a Rank 5 Warrior. It would be a tough challenge.

In the level 5 Bivorch City, there were not only the level 5 King Bivorch but also tens of thousands of bivorch soldiers of various levels waiting.

This battle would be a massive confrontation between humanity and the bivorches. If successful, Divon Tiger would prove his worth as a true Rank 7 Warrior, and the fame of the Tiger Guild would rise.
