"So this place is huge, i've never touched a single wall inside this whole building." I said, my tone sounded excited and amused as i continuesly walk around the building, exploring it.
"It's not a thing for that owner of this building to brag about, his building might look fancy but the way he made a deal with a devil, that's a no-no." Sermon replied with his voice sounded a little cold and harsh towards the owner.
"How does exactly people make deals with devils? Like...do they sign some contracts?" I asked, sounded confused and curious.
Sermon stopped walking. "Contracts exists in the deal but not in the paper way."
I tilted my head slightly. "Then what?"
"Well ofcourse you'll sell your soul to the devils in exchange of fame, wealth, power and even hiring a devil hitman to curse someone and kill them " Sermon explained with a straight face, his voice sounded cold.
"What about-" I was cut off when sermon blocked my way with his hand.
"Do you see that?" He said narrowing his eyes his voice sounded a little cautious.
"What?"
He remained with his fierce look as he look for something, he closed his eyes. "It felt so powerful and menacing at the same time, just be determined we don't know anything inside this building."
"Uhh okay?" I replied, confused.
As we continued exploring the building, everything was fine until two students approached us; their expressions were blank as they stare at us.
Sermon and I were taken aback by the appearance of this two students a blue haired boy and a brown haired girl; i could sense a weird feeling coming from them, somekind of aura?
"No." I muttered.
Is it the demonic aura that Sermon had felt yesterday in me? It could be!
-Flashback
"Luck? Ohh too bad but guess again!, I can literally sense a demonic aura in you. How does it feel?, did Roxanne possessed you?" I recalled Sermon's statement yesterday.
-End of flashback
"So am i feeling what Sermon felt yesterday?" I muttered, my eyes were shaking as a sweat runs down my forehead.
Sermon kept his composure; acting chill and calm in front of the two brainwashed students. "Move out of the way, we're meeting someone." Sermon said to the students, his eyes were narrowing.
The two students seems to be not listening but remained standing still with their blank expression, it felt like they're staring at my soul.
We tried walking the other way but the two followed us; literally blocking our way, forbidding us to go upstairs where Mr. Johnson's office is located.
"I think we should go the other way, Sermon-" As I began looking at Sermon, I saw the shadows started forming covering his eyes. "Sermon, D-don't tell me we're gonna hurt this students?"
"Let's make our one last move, let's move the other way and once they blocked us again... Y'know what's gonna happen." Sermon replied in a low distinct tone.
I looked at him first then to the students before giving him a nod; we tried to walk pass by them by going to their right side when suddenly they blocked us again.
Sermon, without hesitation; quickly grabbed the female student's head and slammed it to the floor, breaking the floor. I was taken aback by this sudden violence of Sermon.
The other male student quickly aims his index finger towards me; a demon symbol started forming, then suddenly giant flames started bursting out and sending it towards me.
"HOLY SHI-!" I screamed, thinking what to do next in this worst situation.
"SHIT! I'M TOO SLOW!" Sermon yelled out of anger.
I tried defending myself through this flames by covering my face with my left elbow and my right hand extended, facing the incoming flame.
Out of the sudden a shadow started forming a shield on my right hand, blocking the flames that was sent to me.
Sermon was startled by this but there is no time to be shocked and amazed, Sermon quickly stood up and charged towards the student.
"This will paralyze you temporarily but it won't kill 'ya!" Sermon said with a menacing smile on his face.
A light emerged from his hand; before the student reacts, Sermon's hand finally touched the student's back that causes the student's eyes to turn white and collapsed.
"HEAD UPSTAIRS, NOW!"
Sermon yelled at me, taking this chance to rush upstairs.
With one quick nod, we both ran upstairs as more brainwashed students started throwing their magic at us, making a loud sound of destruction.
"So those kids are brainwashed right?!" I asked Sermon while running.
"Indeed." He replied, casually.
"You didn't kill those students right?"
"That spell will only paralyze him temporarily."
We kept running as we finally reached third floor; i started panting out of tiredness, I really want to take a break from running but those crowd of students kept on chasing us.
"Wait! How about that girl?, you slammed his face on the floor right?" I asked out of concern for the brainwashed girl.
"Well let's just hope that she's okay." Sermon replied with a snicker.
"Y-you're fucking serious right-" An axe was sent flying towards from our left side as we about to take the last stair; hitting the wall beside me, i was startled. "EEPP!"
Sermon and I, looked from our left side and saw a green haired girl wearing circular glasses and the same school uniform as the others; sharp objects we're floating beside her, with just a point of her finger, she sent a knife flying towards Sermon but he blocked it with his hand by swinging it.
"Telekinesis?" Sermon said in a firm tone. "Keep running, you idiot!" He yelled to me.
"R-right!" Without saying another word, we both kept running to go to Mr. Johnson's office.
Before our feet makes the last step, A man wearing a long sleeved polo with a black necktie approached us; we quickly stopped from running, Sermon glared at the man.
"Tsk, another brainwashed tired looking accountant?" Sermon muttered.
"Gentlemen, running at the hallway is a violation in this school." He said casually with a smile on his face.
"What does an accountant doing in this school, aren't you supposed to be working at the bank?" I asked, firmly.
"This accountant is also brainwashed!" Sermon yelled.
The man narrowed his eyes while staring at us; but kept his cool and also his smile, he slowly walked towards us.
"Gentlemen, I'm the owner of this building haha, I'm no accountant, do i look really that tired to you guys." He reached out his hand towards us. "You can call me Mr. Johnson, nice to meet you gentlemen."
