"I'm good at forcing liars." Says Sermon, crossing his arms.
"And i'm impressed by your talent, those people who works for the archbishop has that amusing skill." Mr. Johnson replied, giving out a mischievous smile. "I have no grudge against for the light, this man asked for this wish so i fulfill it."
"Wait, wait! Are we talking to Mr. Johnson right now?" I asked.
"Who the fuck is that anyway? Ohh, that desperate guy!" Mr. Johnson replied in a sarcastic way as he laughs mockingly.
Sermon snapped and quickly jumped over his desk; his face was few inches away from his Mr. Johnson's face, Sermon looks at him menacingly. His gaze was like staring deep down his soul.
"Listen here, i don't want any of these mocking way of replies! If we asked you a question, you'll answer only with a yes or no, you got it?" Sermon snapped.
"oh? Aggressive now aren't we? calm down young man no one is going fight unless if you want, one." Mr. Johnson threatened Sermon, keeping his mischievous smile visible.
I was so speechless; having no words to say, just sitting and watch how the situation folds. Out of the sudden Sermon and I felt nauseous and weak; I fell down on my chair while Sermon on the other hand fell really hard on the floor since he was standing over Mr. Johnson's desk.
Our body was paralyzed; it felt like something is restraining our body, Mr. Johnson stood up from his chair and slowly approached us.
"W-what did you do?!" I questioned him, yelling.
"When your target gives you a drink, don't even try to drink it." He laughs mockingly.
At this point we are at his mercy. "I-i swear y-you'll pay for this Johnson!" Sermon hissed at him.
"Did the archbishop taught you about this kinds of tricks?" He clicked his tongue as he shook his head. "How sad, but I'll make sure I leave no witnesses here." He smiled maniacally.
"I put a curse in that coffee, the effect only occurs after 20 minutes and within a second now... y'know what? it would be painful for a bit, so hold on tight."
Sermon and I felt a pain in our chest; it felt like a stone with a sharp end being pressed on our chest. We both gasped for air feeling helpless because of the paralyzing effect of the coffee we drank earlier.
S-shit i...i never felt t-this d-devastating...p-pain!!
We can't move to hold our chest nor twitch; i can't do anything but to feel this devastating pain while i look at the culprit who did it. "I was right all along, i knew something bad is going to happen but why didn't i warned Sermon about this?" I wondered in my thoughts.
I took a gaze of Sermon who was already collapsed on the floor with his saliva running down his cheeks. "S-so I'm going t-to die?!" My mind is filled with thoughts, about me being dead and why didn't i warned Sermon about this.
Maybe because i don't want to be a burden to him, as i remembered he was only ensuring my safety as a part of a deal to help him with this mission: nevertheless, i'm really going to die right here, right now.
After suffering from this agony, I'm once again back into the void floating once again inside the darkness; although, this place seems very familiar until i suddenly realized.
"Well that was quite a scene right there, good job!" A familiar voice chuckled as it echoes around this void.
Well i already know the person behind this voice. "S-so am i dead again, Roxanne?" I asked.
"Of course! You're once again back from here, hey let me tell 'ya, You should've told Sermon about this." She replied. "You don't really trust my instincts do you?" She added, playfully wailing.
"W-wait, what i felt earlier it was you all along?" I asked, dumbfounded.
"Indeed! What do you think are the similarities between me and that Mr. Johnson guy?" She questioned me, her voice is somewhat sounded like she's happy or something.
"T-that you two are demons right?" I answered.
"Right, and what do you think he put in your coffee?"
I pondered for a bit then i suddenly recalled something.
-Flashback
"I put a curse in that coffee, the effect only occurs after 20 minutes and within a second now... y'know what? it would be painful for a bit, so hold on tight." Says Mr. Johnson as i recalled my memories about earlier.
-End of flashback
"So you know about that curse?" I asked, curious.
"Hmm... Actually no, but before the three of you stepped at the hallway heading to that guy's office, I already knew that there was curse somewhere inside this building." She explained.
"Too bad, i was already giving you a sign but you trusted Sermon more than me, when he drinks the coffee, you'll drink it too" She added, chuckling.
I was left speechless and felt stupid; she was right i should've told Sermon about what i felt earlier, I just clicked my tongue and clenched my fist out of anger.

-3rd Pov
Somewhere at the rooftop of a tall building, Hendrick was gazing at the Woodlake's building before checking the time on his phone. "5:20PM huh? It sure does getting late, I can already feel something happened to them.
"Should i do something about it?" A pink haired girl wearing a formal school uniform named Angela asked.
"Yeah i want you to check on those two, but make sure to be careful, not careless alright?" He asked in a firm tone, his smile is still visible.
"Got it." Angela followed without saying another word.
Angela jumped from the building without any equipment; as she about to hit the ground, she swung her hands downwards creating a wind force that slowed her fall.

"So what do you think, Marie? That curse was effective, in under 20 minutes the curs will take effect by paralyzing their bodies and withing seconds after that 20 minutes, they will feel a heavy pain in their chest, worse than any pain." Mr. Johnson said to Marie with his voice filled with enthusiasm yet evil.
A girl in a maid dress who gave both Sermon and Aaron the cursed coffee is named Marie; Marie, smiled as she closed her eyes with her attentive stance. "I must say Master, the coffee did kill those hunters."
"Hunters huh? That's weird, the guy earlier... S-sermon's partner i mean, i could sense something weird inside of him. I felt a sense of dread while that guy was talking to me earlier but gladly i kept my composure." He explained.
"F-forget about it! As long as the coffee took down those hunters, then i shouldn't be feeling anxious right now." He added, there's a sense of fear in his voice.
"Marie, get me a coffee!" He commanded, firmly.
With Marie's one quick nod, she walked outside the office to get him a coffee; Mr. Johnson stood up from his chair and walked to the window beside him to take a gaze at the city, he bit his thumb, his eyes narrowing.
"Seriously, what was that feeling earlier?"
