-Aaron's POV
It's raining cats and dogs today, the sky is dark and I can literally smell the earthy scent after opening the window and it's called petrichor.
I'm alone inside the room with my backpack and nothing else, the rain was a never-ending river falling from the sky, trapping me inside the classroom like a fish in a glass bowl.
I watched as the water streamed down the windows, turning the world outside into a blurry mess of grays and blues. Each drop sounded like a drumbeat on the roof, a constant reminder that I was stuck here for who knows how long.
I suddenly felt a vibration in my left pocket and it was my phone, I quickly took out my phone and checked for the notifications.
It's nothing but an Adult Entertainment notification, my friend Alex is using my account too.
What a dirty bastard.
I put my phone back inside my pocket and sat down on my desk, staring at the window watching the waters stream down the window.
"There's nothing interesting in this world." I muttered.
After the twenty minutes of waiting the rain had finally stopped, it's nothing but a mist.
I was walking outside as i look at the basketball field with hands inside my pockets.
Everything that surrounds me feels gloomy and dull, it makes me wanna throw myself away.
Every minutes and seconds that passes are wasted.
"What's the meaning of life anyway?" I muttered to myself as i look at the dark sky.
I closed my eyes to feel this feeling of nothingness, dullness and void. The memories started flashing to the point when I was always getting bullied, ignored, after my dad passes away and to the point that I'm still alive today.
I snapped back to reality when a red car stopped in front of me, I took a glance of it as the windows slides down.
"Alex." I said.
"Hop in! The news says there will be heavy rains starting at 7PM, you don't wanna get wet do ya?" Alex replied as he points the empty sit beside him with his thumb.
Without thinking twice, I already hopped in inside his car. Inside the car is very comfy and the fragrance inside the car is spreading.
"I didn't know you can literally fix that but in that program earlier." He randomly asked me.
"Who told you?" I asked.
"Justine told me earlier, you're really good at that part."
"It's just a missing line." I replied with a smirk.
"You arrogant bastard." He said jokingly with a laugh. "I'm really bad at that programming language, LITERALLY! I'm suck at it!"
"Come on its only python." I smirked. "It has the most easiest syntax."
"I can't even handle HTML back in high school." We both laughed.
After minutes of talking, we stopped by the convenience store.
"You want something?" He asked me while removing his seat belt.
"No I'm good, I didn't bring any money today." I replied, scratching the back of my head.
"Did I ask you? If you brought money?" He asked, raising a single eyebrow.
I chuckled. "Just give me a root beer."
Inside the convenience store was very cold, there are 4 air conditioners on every corners behind some stalls.
We were at the drinks section, Alex opened the energy drink fridge and mine was the beer fridge.
"You're not planning on sleeping tonight huh?" I asked as i close the refrigerator.
"Nahh, I'm gonna go grinding with the MMORPG game I've just downloaded earlier." He replied with confidence.
"Well it's saturday tommorow anyway."
We went to the cashier to pay for our drinks. "Here's your change sir." Said the cashier handing us 2 dollars and 3 cents.
We went outside as the slide door automatically opens and suddenly we stumbled upon a girl that is injured, there are bruises on her face and a wound on her forearm.
She looked at us with his eyes asking for help and begging. "Please help me!" She begged, desperately.
"U-uhmmm..." I don't know what to say.
"W-what's wrong miss?! You're hurt! Come inside!" Alex stutters.
Me and Alex lead the girl inside the convenience store, everyone was surprised at this sudden incident so everyone inside the store gathered around her.
"T-t..... there's a maniac out there! D-d... don't come any close to him!" She stuttered as she shakes, it seems that she is paranoid.
As i heard about this statement, i took a glance out of the glass slide door in front of me, i quickly went outside without hesitation.
"NOO!!" She screams.
Everyone looked at me bravely standing outside, glancing to my left and right and saw nothing.
The whole place is filled with silence only punctuated by the sound of the air-conditioner and a car passing by.
"What?....what d-do you see?" Asked Alex.
"There's no one outside here!" I said.
"I-I think we should drive her to the police station!" Alex replied.
"Y-yeah" I replied with a nod. "I think w-we should hurry."
With my statement, Alex took a glance of the paranoid girl, concerned.
Later, we've finally arrived at the police station, the heavy rain had already started. We ran heading inside the police station with my tracksuit on top of the girl's head and me.
When suddenly an officer approached us. "How can I help you youngsters?" He asked, sounding fierce.
I turned to the girl. "I-i think you should explain, miss..?" I asked, confused.
"R-Roxanne sir." She replied, looking down.
"Hmm, i can really tell your situation with those bruises on your face but I need specifications, tell me what happened." Said the officer.
Roxanne stuttered her words and her body was rapidly shaking.
"I-i....uh-uhhh... I-"
Alex approached her from behind and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, you're safe with us." He said with a warm smile.
"I-I was abused by my some maniac outside." She stuttered.
"I understand ma'am, where are your parents?" The officer asks.
"They were working abroad."
"I've heard enough just wait here, I'll report this to the station, alright?"
The officer walked away leaving us three in the hallway, i sat down on a metal chair behind us and drank my root beer.
The two sat down too as Alex drinks his energy drink, he turned to Roxanne and asks her. "Hey."
Roxanne looked at her. "Hm?"
"I was just wondering, where will you sleep after this?" Alex asked her.
"Why'd you asked?"
"Uhh?! I'm not being a pervert or something here i was just concerned about you!"
I chuckled too loud as I cover my mouth with my hand.
"You're making it too obvious bro." I said with a snicker.
"N-noo!! I'm not not!"
