LEVI RETURNED WEARY FROM HIS TRIP HOME. He had spent nearly the entire day asleep. Glancing at the hourglass, he noted that he had three years remaining and had not fulfilled his obligations.

The Book of Gold seemed to waver and gradually lose its vigor. He snatched it right away to check what was going on.

Suddenly, the book exhibited a vision. A grinning young man appeared and said, "See you soon, my child."

Levi closed the book after hearing it. His father was calling him; he would be there soon. Levi wondered about the reason and where they would meet.

"Matthew. Where is Lucifer?" Levi called out.

Matthew turned around, "He's at the bar. What's wrong?"

"Dad is coming soon," Levi replied, touching his forehead.

Matthew looked worried, "When?!"

"He didn't say anything," Levi sighed.

Matthew's concern deepened, "What are we going to do now?"

"Let's go to Lucifer," Levi said, standing up to get his car.

He operated his Rolls Royce vehicle, revving the engine immediately, and drove it to Lucifer's tavern—a prominent place to satisfy everything you want and need.

Levi received a call from Celeste. He answered, "What?"

"What's with your tone?" Celeste asked from the other end.

Levi sighed, "I'm going to Lucifer."

"The devil?" Celeste said, surprised.

Levi chuckled, "Definitely. Why did you call me?"

"I need your help searching for a woman who has hypnotized my workers lately," Celeste said, sounding stressed.

Levi replied, "I'll go there later."

When he arrived at the pub, he ended the call. Lucifer observed him right away and realized that something was off about Levi.

"Where's your tattoo?" Lucifer asked, inspecting his hand.

Levi sighed, "A woman has it?"

"Oh, how is that possible?" Lucifer chuckled.

Levi smirked, "I don't even know. Dad is coming soon as well. I saw a vision from that darn book."

"Well, that's why you came to see me," Lucifer nodded.

Before them, Lilith showed up carrying drinks. She noticed Levi was helpless and attempted to hypnotize him but was unsuccessful.

"Don't make me hate you, Lilith," Levi said, his eyes filled with anger.

Levi and Lucifer discussed how to welcome their father and where to meet him, being aware of his constant appearances. They decided to remain somewhere more convenient and cozy for everyone.

THE NEXT DAY, Celeste was in her office reviewing paperwork, with Levi's help utilizing his abilities to keep an eye on the woman they had taken yesterday.

"How long do I have to stay here?" Catherine asked.

Levi looked up, "As long as she says so."

"WTF!" Catherine said, glaring at him.

Celeste stood up, "Hey! What did you do to them?"

"Nothing? Why keep locking me here?" Catherine asked, losing her patience.

Levi grabbed her neck, "If you don't talk, I can make you feel what the hell is like, woman."

"O-okay. It was the silver-haired lady. She didn't tell her name because she said it was just her business. I had nothing to do with it," Catherine gasped for breath.

Levi released his hand, "Silver-haired? I know who it might be. There is only one."

"Who?" Celeste asked, confused.

Levi already knew. Hypnotism was her specialty. "Lilith, the queen of hell."

"What the hell?" Celeste exclaimed.

Celeste was taken aback when Levi grabbed her hand and led them into a room filled with the aroma of roses, the space also artistic.

A tall young woman in a bathrobe appeared before them, smiling as she sat comfortably in front of them. Catherine shivered, "That's her."

"I got caught," Lilith smiled.

Levi pushed the woman forward, surprised to see Lilith assisting her with food. He had never witnessed the queen doing such a thing before.

Lilith hypnotized Celeste, causing her to fall asleep on the sofa. Time stopped again, and the facade vanished. He greeted him, "Leviathan, my beloved child."

"Dad? What are you doing here?" Levi was speechless.

The Almighty said, "Surprise! Aren't you happy?"

"Me? No! After what I have suffered and gone through, I don't even know where to start," Levi said.

The Almighty smiled, "I know. I came to visit you to tell the truth."

"What truth?" Levi looked up.

The Almighty walked closer to him and said, "About our deal. You haven't forgotten it, have you?"

"Of course not. I don't think I'll ever go back," Levi said, turning around.

The Almighty intervened, halting Levi's protest with a gentle yet commanding tone. "I'm not yet done speaking, my child. Consider this a warning. Without your powers, there is a big possibility for you to die."

"What do you mean?" Levi was taken aback.

A chuckle escaped the Almighty's lips as he clarified, "Living among humans without your celestial mark renders you vulnerable. Your life hangs precariously in the balance. You should be careful."

Levi's confidence wavered. "But why should I? I have her," he gestured towards the woman by his side.

The Almighty elucidated the reasons and boundaries between an angel and a demon. Levi found it difficult to think clearly after this revelation. The realization that he could perish at any moment weighed heavily on him.

His father reached out, clasping Levi's hand firmly. "It is time for you to accept that it is your fate. While the woman may be by your side, her presence does not ensure her immortality."

"I understand. Your point is clear. Is there any way for me to regain my powers?" Levi inquired.

His father nodded solemnly. "Yes, there is, but it comes with a condition—she must perish. The mark will revert to its original owner automatically. If you choose otherwise, you will meet your demise during the next full moon."

"What kind of options are these? Are there no other ways for both of us to survive? You're God; why can't you give it back to me?" Levi's anger surged within him.

God shook his head. "When will you ever learn? I can only offer guidance; the choice is still yours. I've presented you with a possibility, but you refuse to heed my counsel."

"Thanks for the advice, but I'll seek a better solution," Levi stressed.

God grinned. "Greedy as always. You never fail to amuse me. It's inherent in you."

God patted Levi on the shoulder and whispered words of wisdom. Levi was taken aback, his scent lingering in the room. Then, time reverted to normal, and everything was restored.

"What just happened?" Celeste rubbed her temples, noticing Levi's frozen expression.

Levi was speechless; he swiftly exited the room. "Damn it. I'm done playing games with you, Father."
