Since it was Sunday and Celeste had no plans, she let Levi take her wherever he wanted. She went to his condo to see him. Noticing that he had not returned to his room, she went to the restroom and knocked.
"Levi? Are you there?" Celeste called out.
She burst in when no one answered and discovered he was showering. Luckily, he was just taking a shower. She couldn't help but notice he had a good backside.
"Levi. Why are you not answering?" Celeste knocked on the shower door.
Levi replied, "Can't you see I'm showering? Why are you here?"
"Uh- I just wanted us to hang out today. You weren't answering, so..." Celeste turned around.
Levi turned, "It looks like you want to look at my body?"
"Not really," Celeste's cheeks turned red.
Levi wrapped a towel around his lower torso. The sight of Celeste biting her lips made him turn to face the mirror. She clasped her arms firmly as well.
"Are you done?" Celeste asked, glancing in his direction.
Levi noticed her lips, "Captivating."
"Oh, God!" Celeste exclaimed, her mouth wide open.
Levi smirked. "Like what you see?"
Celeste gulped and fled from the restroom, her heart pumping rapidly. She asked Matthew for some cold water.
Levi dressed in his full Dior attire. Once he put on his perfume, he looked astonishing. He grabbed his keys and headed to the car.
"Let's go, babe," Levi grinned at her.
Celeste was disgusted by the pet name, "No, I don't like that."
"Baby," Levi said in his deep voice.
Celeste blushed and immediately entered the car.
"Well, that was easy," Levi remarked with a smirk.
He drove the vehicle to a well-known eatery. A woman approached Celeste as soon as she got out of the car, leading the way to their table after taking her coat.
"What would you like to have, Mr. Levi?" A VIP waiter approached them.
Levi replied, "Anything she wants."
The waiter looked at Celeste, waiting for her answer.
"I'll have this and that one as well," Celeste smiled at the waiter.
The waiter nodded, "I'll serve it in 15 minutes. Thank you, young miss and sir."
"Thank you," Celeste said.
The waiter couldn't help but stare at her. Levi noticed this and touched her hand, catching her attention. She made eye contact with him.
"Rule #5: Don't touch me unless I allow you," Celeste stated firmly.
Levi, using the triangle method, made contact with her, "There's an exception, right?"
"Yes, but next time I won't. I'm warning you," Celeste said, removing her hand.
AFTER FIFTEEN MINUTES, their order was delivered, emitting a pleasant aroma that intensified Celeste's longing. She hadn't spent time with anyone in a very long time.
Levi took her plate and expertly sliced the steak. "Here you go."
"Thank you," Celeste said.
Levi nodded and took a bite. "Hmmm. It tastes good."
"Not bad, but it could be better," Celeste pointed at the steak.
Levi called the waiter over, "Can you suggest any dessert that she might like?"
"Well, what type of dessert are you looking for, miss?" The waiter asked.
Celeste looked at him, "Something not too sweet."
"Noted. You can wait for a moment. How about you, sir?" The waiter turned to Levi.
Levi replied, "Anything will do."
"I'll be right back, madam and sir," the waiter immediately left them.
Levi talked about his mark and how important it was to him. He explained to her how it would affect his well-being.
"So, are you saying that without this, you are just a normal human being like everyone else?" Celeste asked.
Levi nodded, "Exactly. I must be near you at all times so that I can use it as long as I hold your hand."
"Oh. How did you end up here anyway? You are a demon, shouldn't you be in hell?" Celeste inquired further.
Levi responded, "Long story regarding that, but the Almighty gave me another chance suddenly."
"How lucky you are then. What are your plans now?" Celeste added.
Levi, still unsure, replied, "Just go with the flow... I'm still unstable right now, and then another problem occurs before me."
"Me?" Celeste pointed at herself.
Levi smirked, "Maybe."
The waiter served their dessert with glee in their eyes. Celeste immediately took a bite, unable to resist craving for more.
"Much better," Celeste complimented the waiter.
The waiter smiled, "Thank you, madam. We did our best to make sure we satisfy you."
AFTER ONE HOUR, the neon lights of the arcade dimmed as Levi and Celeste emerged onto the bustling street outside. The sounds of laughter and chatter faded into the background as they strolled along the sidewalk, the evening air crisp against their skin.
"Where are we going next?" Celeste asked, looking at him.
Levi pointed at a claw machine, "Want to play?"
"Sure. How about we make a bet?" Celeste grinned.
Levi chuckled, "Are you sure about that?"
"Yes. I'll even give you anything you want," Celeste assured him.
They made a deal that the first one to get five toys wins. Celeste was leading, having obtained three toys so far, while Levi was trying to catch up. Then he noticed that she was in pain.
Levi, currently leading with four toys, got the fifth one when Celeste suddenly collapsed from pain. He rushed to her side, patting her face.
"Celeste!?" Levi started to worry.
Levi held her hand, using his powers to transport them to the nearby hospital he knew. He asked a doctor about her condition.
"You have nothing to worry about, sir. It's just that time of the month for her," the doctor explained to Levi.
Levi sighed in relief, feeling his heart beating fast. "I'm glad nothing is wrong with her."
"She needs enough rest. It seems she hasn't been taking care of herself lately. We'll give her the necessary medications if she experiences any ongoing pain and struggles to cope with it," the doctor said.
Levi nodded, "Got it. I'll stay for the meantime."
"I'll leave you both, then," the doctor said before closing the door.
Levi called Celeste's father to inform him of what happened, and when he saw her dad arriving, he left immediately. Syron thanked him for taking her to the hospital promptly.
"I owe you one, Levi," Syron told him.
"I know," Levi replied.
Levi left them and returned to his office. He felt something strange in his chest, unable to decipher the feeling. His heart was beating faster than ever.
