Edward, the man again laughed. He hugged Laura affectionately, kissing her forehead. He only loved Laura as a sister and nothing more. If the Moon Goddess destined him to be with Laura, then he would gladly accept.
"We should go home because the Palace will be lonely without a chatty girl like you."
"Wicked sister." Laura clutched her chest while turning her face the other way, she was pretending to be angry at Edward.
Edward stood up and patted his pants. "I'll leave you."
Laura immediately got up and hugged Edward's arm. She did not want to be left in a deserted place like this, even though this place was behind the Palace, but for Laura it was very scary if she was alone here.
When the two of them reached the Palace, chaos was brewing. Guards, Wariors, and Omegas were on edge. Alpha and Luna were spewing blood in a pitch black color. The healers had tried to treat them but they were all up in arms.
"No one will escape the wolf's Bane," said one of the short healers with bleached hair and beard. His eyes looked sadly at Alpha Chaiden and Luna Eleanor.
"Father, Mother."
Edward cried out loudly as he hugged the bodies of his parents who no longer had a heartbeat. The sound of his cries was heartbreaking for all the Werewolves who witnessed it.
"Who did all this?" asked Edward in a voice full of hatred and vengeance. His shining sapphire blue eyes were filled with rage.
Everyone was silent, no one dared to answer Edward's question. They preferred to remain silent rather than say the wrong thing.
Laura was terrified at the sight of an angry Edward, the first time she had seen Edward overcome by anger. Laura wanted to embrace him, but she was too scared and chose to hide behind the body of her mother, Beatrix.
"Alpha and Luna are drinking the tea given to them by Madame Beatrix," one of the Guards said as he lowered his head not daring to look at Edward.
Edward's eyes stared intently at the Maverick family. He was breathing hard with his hands clenched into fists. Edward never thought that the family would betray Alpha and Luna. It turned out that the rumors were true, the Maverick family wanted to overthrow Alpha and Luna's position.
"We did give tea to Alpha and Luna, but we wouldn't do such a cruel thing either," Hadwin Maverick said. He never intended to kill Alpha and Luna because they were so close.
"Do you know what to do?" Edward asked the Wariors and Guards.
"Brother Edward," called Laura softly while shaking her head. However, Edward ignored her and left Laura looking at him expectantly.
Laura knew that she and her family would not be okay. Death would be waiting for them soon.

Daisy, a 19-year-old girl who became an Omega. She looked elegant and beautiful at the same time with all-white clothes and hair braided together with a pink hairband. Daisy's aura was different from other Omegas. Daisy looked more beautiful and authoritative.
"Will I be okay?" Daisy asked the two dungeon guards. She was very hesitant to enter there because surely the people inside were sinners and cruel people.
"Come in," one of them said. His voice was stern and gave Daisy goosebumps.
They both opened the door. Daisy snorted in annoyance because in this Palace everyone was almost ninety-eight percent flat-faced like a living, walking statue. Like there was no sign of life.
"Compared to the Red Moon pack, it's still good there. Although I was never considered, but it was full of warmth there," Daisy muttered. A fleeting image of the Red Moon Pack danced in the girl's memory. Then, her face turned sour as she thought about the man.

Daisy jumped in surprise at the voice from behind her. She turned her head and immediately rounded her eyes when a Warior stood behind her.
"Raymond. You always surprise me!" snapped Daisy as she exhaled a sigh of relief. If it wasn't Reymond who heard her, Daisy might have lost her life.
"It's a good thing I'm with you so your life is still safe, little sister," Raymond whispered.
"Let's just say you're my lucky charm today."
Daisy's smile grew when she finally found the woman wearing a shabby white dress. Her eyes stared straight ahead blankly, no life emanating from them.
Daisy walked over to her slowly. What a poor woman, Daisy thought.
"Hi, I brought something for you." Daisy said softly. She ordered Raymond to open the prison cell door.
The woman smiled at the beautiful voice. This was the first time someone had greeted her so politely. She desperately wanted to see her face, but unfortunately darkness was all she saw all day in this prison.
'Is she an angel?' she thought with a faint smile.
"I brought food and also your favorite flowers."
"Are they cherry blossoms?" she asked with a big smile.
"It is. Do you want to eat? Let me help you eat." Daisy offered with great hospitality. Her mind screamed at the thought of a girl her age having to suffer like this.
The woman shook her head, and asked Daisy to give her some cherry blossoms.
"These are very fragrant," she said as she sucked on a cherry blossom. Her smile was wide and very sweet. She couldn't see. However, the beauty of the cherry blossoms was in her memory.
Daisy nodded her head. She observed the face of the woman who was sucking cherry blossoms, her face was so beautiful even though it was in a messy state. Daisy concluded that she must have been from the upper class. What crime has this beautiful woman committed? Daisy thought.
"I'm so jealous of her beauty," Daisy thought.
"Can I know your name?"
The woman smiled faintly, she knew that the one who came here must be the new Omega at work. Everyone in the Palace knew him as the killer of the Werewolf's leading family.
"My name is Laura."
"What a beautiful name just like her." Daisy complimented sincerely. "My name is-"
"Daisy." A booming baritone voice scared Daisy.
