[Sarah was woken up abruptly by her sister. "Wake up," she called while shaking her. Sarah got up and prepared herself because they had to leave quickly. The Necroa virus was spreading at an alarming rate. "We have to leave now," her sister said. Sarah looked at her notebook where she had sketched a picture of Romeo and Juliet. ]
All these memories memories flowed into her min as she kissed Alex again but for longer than usual. "My hero," she said calmly.
Alex began thinking about proposing marriage or something of the sort. Letting her go, he stood up and left. When dusk arrived he came back. Only a few more days remained until the crops were fully grown. He bashed to firestones together near the fireplace and then blew on the toppings, and fire started burning the firewood. He looked into the fire in deep thoughts. The sparks of the fire seemed to be in rhythm with his thoughts.
He was abruptly brought out of deep thought by Sarah when she called him for dinner. After the scrumptious meal, he sat on the couch with Sarah beside him. He began to think back, about what happened as she hummed a tune that was familiar. It was something his mother would hum to him so that he could sleep.
"Where did you learn that?" he asked. She continued humming for a bit and then said, "From my sister, why?" "Nothing. It just brings back memories," he said. She switched to another which he also remembered. He thought how weird it was she knew their family tune... This further more increased his anxiety to meet the sister.
He remembered his mother telling him that those hums were a family secret that no one else was supposed to know. 'Does this mean that Sarah's sister is? No it can't possibly be so. Maybe they have their own family tune?' he thought to him self. "What are you thinking about?" she asked. "I was thinking that you haven't taken a bath in a long time an that's very unnatural. And the thing is that the shower works," he answered. She felt filthy now after he'd noticed. "That's true. And since you have seen me, help me wash my back and hair?" she said calmly. After careful thinking, he nodded.

He woke up the following morning and got out of bed. Sarah was still fast asleep. Suddenly, the feeling of running away from her became very real but it was his promise that kept him bounded. The first thing he did, was having a freezing shower expecting to get a cold. As water trickled down his body, he was lunged into thought. 'Something definitely feels in human and I wonder what that is. I should really find a way to heat this water. I don't want Sarah catching a cold since the medicine in the pharmacy has expired. But now the problem comes with producing electricity. I have to think of alternative ways to da that. And as I do that, I should probably find a way to store the heated water.'
He turned the valve and the water supply stopped. He changed into new clothing and went to the fireplace to warm himself up. As he did this, Sarah appeared and hugged him. She was ice cold. Alex knew not why but he didn't mind sharing some of his heat. She shivered, her teeth clattered. "Do you have a cold by any chance?" he asked. She shook her head.
As he shared his body warmth, Sarah became warmer. "Should I ask you something?" she asked. He nodded and anticipated her question. "Do you have a sibling?" she asked. The question sent quivers up his spine. "I did have one but I have no idea where she disappeared to," he answered. He didn't know how to dodge that question. "Why?" he asked.
