Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Presentation, Part 2.

After the presentation concluded, Kazuya, Hiro, and Mei gathered backstage, their hearts still racing from the exhilaration of their success. As they exchanged relieved smiles and congratulatory nods, their teacher approached, a proud smile spreading across her face.

"Well done, Kazuya, Hiro, and Mei," their teacher said, her voice filled with genuine admiration. "That was an outstanding presentation. I'm truly impressed by the depth of your research and the creativity of your ideas."

Kazuya felt a swell of pride at the praise, his earlier nerves now a distant memory. He exchanged a glance with Hiro and Mei, their eyes shining with pride and relief.

"Thank you, Sensei," Kazuya replied, his voice filled with gratitude. "We couldn't have done it without your guidance and support."

Their teacher nodded, her smile widening. "You three have worked incredibly hard on this project, and it shows. Your dedication and passion shine through in every aspect of your work."

She paused, her gaze softening as she looked at each of them in turn. "I have no doubt that you will go on to do amazing things in the future. Keep pushing the boundaries, and never stop believing in yourselves."

Kazuya, Hiro, and Mei exchanged a glance, their hearts swelling with gratitude and determination.

As Kazuya and his friends basked in the praise of their teacher, a group of classmates watched from a distance, their expressions sour with jealousy and resentment.

"Did you see that?" one girl muttered, her voice dripping with disdain. "They think they're so special just because they gave a halfway decent presentation."

"Yeah, it's not like they're the only ones who can come up with ideas," another classmate chimed in, rolling her eyes. "I bet we could do just as well if we had the chance."

The group nodded in agreement, their envy palpable in the air. They exchanged knowing glances, their whispers growing louder as they voiced their grievances.

"It's not fair that they get all the attention," one boy grumbled, his arms crossed over his chest. "We work just as hard as they do, if not harder."

"And yet they act like they're the only ones who matter," another girl added, her voice tinged with bitterness. "It's like they think they're better than us or something."

As Kazuya and his friends made their way out of the auditorium, the group of jealous classmates watched them go, their resentment simmering beneath the surface.

In the dimly lit auditorium, amidst the sea of faces, two figures clad in full black clothing sat at the back, unnoticed by the rest of the audience. Their sharp eyes scanned the stage, observing every detail with an air of calculated intensity.

As Kazuya and his friends left the podium, the two men exchanged a knowing glance, a silent understanding passing between them. They were members of the notorious rebel organization known as the Chorno Reapers, and they had come to the presentation with a specific target in mind.

During the presentation , the two men noticed something. Strange occurrences, subtle but unmistakable, seemed to follow in Kazuya's wake. Lights flickered, objects moved of their own accord, and a faint aura of energy surrounded him like a shroud.

Their interest piqued, the two men nodded to each other, their eyes narrowing with curiosity and intrigue. It was clear to them that Kazuya was no ordinary student. He possessed a power, a potential that can change the world.
