Kazuya's eyes fluttered open, his body trembling as he slowly regained consciousness. The harsh glare of fluorescent lights assaulted his senses, and the sterile smell of antiseptic filled the air. As his surroundings came into focus, he realized he was in a different room than the one where he had been tortured.
His heart sank as he saw the white-haired man standing before him, a cruel smile playing on his lips.
"Please," Kazuya begged, his voice raw with desperation. "Let me go. I won't tell anyone, I swear. Just please, let me go."
The man's laughter echoed off the walls, sending shivers down Kazuya's spine. "Oh, my dear boy," he chuckled, his tone dripping with malice. "You really think I would let you go? You're far too valuable to us."
Kazuya's heart sank as he realized the futility of his pleas. Tears welled up in his eyes as he pleaded with the man, but his cries fell on deaf ears.
"Please," he sobbed, his voice breaking with emotion. "I just want to go home. I want to see my family again."
But the man's laughter only grew louder, mocking and cruel. "Your family?" he sneered. "They're long gone, my boy. And soon, you will be too."
Kazuya's world shattered at the man's words, at that moment he remembered what happened to the point he reached this situation.
He remembered his parents being killed right in front of him while his house being burned to the ground.
He collapsed to his knees, his spirit broken and his will crushed. He couldn't bear the thought of never seeing his family again, of never feeling their warmth or hearing their laughter.
But the man showed no remorsed towards Kazuya, his laughter ringing in Kazuya's ears like a death knell. "Take him to the chamber," he ordered, his voice cold and calculating.
As the guards moved to restrain Kazuya, the man's voice cut through the air like a knife. "Remember, my boy," he said, his tone almost gentle. "We're doing this for our future. A future where the Chrono Reapers reign supreme. And for that, we need you to be....Obedient."
Kazuya's heart sank as he realized the true extent of the man's cruelty. He was nothing more than a pawn in their twisted game, a means to an end.
