~She's Back~
The next day
Queen Diantha was able to recuperate. Even though Niamh's disappearance hit her hard, she was able to push through and hopped Niamh is found.
Lansel on the other hand didn't sleep a wink. Even when Neriah went to see him last night, his mind wasn't in his body. He rather felt restless that Niamh couldn't be found or maybe, he was restless thinking Damien took her away. Whichever the case maybe, he was overly worried.
Lansel was getting ready for another fateful and hectic day when Neriah walked in.
"Brother" she called, smiling brightly as usual but Lansel didn't even turn to spare her a glance as he picked up his dagger from the shelf.
"Brother Lansel?" She called again, placing her tiny palm on his broad shoulders but still got no reply.
"Can't you listen to me for once!" Neriah snapped feeling irritated.
"I am not in the mood to listen. Speak and leave!" Lansel retorted turning to her, he was glaring at her.
"I can't stand you in this strange stare" Neriah said, her voice was coming out in a whisper. Her eyes welled up in tears and eventually streamed down. She knew her brother's weakness- her tears. And she'll gladly use his weakness to get him.
"What is it, Neriah?" Lansel asked in a less colder tone. His face wasn't carrying any expression.
"I got something for you. Can we eat first?" Neriah asked, wiping her tears. Lansel stared up at her suspiciously without uttering a word. Neriah sometimes can be so scheming.
"Why all smiles when Neev is missing?" He suddenly asked, staring intently at her. Neriah felt her heart skipping a beat.
"I was only trying to lighten up your mood if not, Neev is also my friend. I hope she's found" Neriah faked a pained expression and pouted.
"Right, let's eat first" she dragged him to the dining room.
Meanwhile at the courtroom, Prince Dionysios, the Queen, and four of his cousins (Lady Itzel, Lady Icelyn, Lord Nero and Lord Arthur) were there when the sea god entered. All eyes turned to him as he made his way towards the throne where the Queen sat high.
"Greetings Your Grace" he bowed briefly.
"Greetings, sea god. Do rise" Queen Diantha reciprocated.
"How's your health, Your Grace? I've heard about the latest happenings" Neptune stated, ever so calmly.
"Doing good, sea god. Thank you for concern" Queen Diantha beamed.
"I am here to offer my help where I can. Though it's not my opinion but Neriah's" he stated and the Queen gave him a cranky look.
Lady Icelyn and Lady Itzel stared at each other, confused.
Neptune smirked knowingly and turned to the door. There emerged a figure of ethereal beauty, her bright silver eyes were twinkling like the moon, her silver hair flowed down her shoulders like liquid moonlight. She was dressed in a lush blue flare gown, looking like a rare pearl of beauty.
"Neev!" The Queen called, extremely shocked at the sight of Niamh. Niamh smiled warmly and proceeded to the courtroom. She stood meters away and bowed.
"Greetings to Her Grace, the Great Queen of the Moon Realm" Niamh's soft voice echoed in the hall. Lord Nero and Lord Arthur stared at each other in disbelief.
"I can't wait to see cousin Lansel's expression" Nero whispered.
"It's obvious he's worried about lady Neev, I don't know his motives though" Lord Arthur shrugged.
"Come, come, come, Neev dear" Queen Diantha gestured Niamh to come closer which she did. She caressed Niamh's cheeks lovingly, smiling charmingly at her. She's truly happy to have Niamh back because if Niamh isn't found, she knew she and the entire Realm are done for with the reasons best known to her.
