Chapter 38 - Chapter Thirty Eight

~Need his head to heal~

"Hand me my sword Severus"Lansel ordered and Severus quickly obeyed, bringing Lansel's sword forward.

"Kneel, don't get on his nerves" Dionysios finally spoke, his voice was ever so calm.

"Silly. I'm the Master. I won't bow down to any pathetic little boy!" Demosthenes yelled, feeling irritated or rather offended.

Lansel drew out his sword ready to kill anyone who disobeyed him but was stopped by Dionysios' voice

"You won't kill anyone, would you?"

Lansel smirked, it wasn't a normal one but a sly and dangerous one.

"Sure, I won't kill anyone" he assured. Demosthenes almost sighed in relief but what happened next left everyone shocked.

Lansel slit Demosthenes' throat and his head flew meters away and his body dropped dead. Blood splashed everywhere. Iphigenia screamed in fear and she palmed her mouth, recoiling in fear.

"But you said you won't kill anyone, Brother!" Dionysios snapped, shocked by Lansel's action. Lansel's lips curved up sideways, forming a deadly smirk.

"I didn't kill him but he will need his head to heal" he said.

Dionysios shook his head helplessly. This brother of his is truly dangerous.

Lansel's gaze swept up to thee subjects and they all went on their knees, bowing their heads as a sign of submitting their lives to him.

His dangerous aura felt like a call of death and their survival instincts immediately kicked in. They know Lansel won't hesitate to behead them all if they refuse to kneel.

Lansel smirked satisfactorily.

"Demolish the castle and reconstruct the places Demosthenes destroyed" Lansel urged, swaying his robe behind him. He walked away with Dionysios.

Actually, what happened was that early before dawn, Severus and Marius reported that Master Demosthenes was destroying the Silver City. That angered Lansel and he marched to the Calm Region. What followed was Demosthenes being beheaded.

Prince Lansel, Dionysios together with Marius and Severus wandered around the silver City. Everywhere is Silver in colour.

The houses, the shops, the long path, the cities market, even the sky also has a unique tint of silver. One would doubt if it was the previous Calm Region that is now glimmering magnificently.

People from the Silver City gathered around, praising Lansel for his considerate behavior. They are all grateful to have someone like him. Lansel smirked satisfactorily as he addressed them. He told them the Golden and Silver City stand and unite under the Moon Realm. He would clear the Mist Forest for the people from both cities to gain access to the Moon Realm.

They all cheered, chanting the Prince's name.

Meanwhile, Aoife was in the crowd. She suddenly felt restless when her gaze fell on Marius. She'll do whatever it takes to talk to him. She had missed him. He left without saying anything. Actually she wasn't expecting him to tell her anything. He wasn't nice to her after all.

Watching them leave, she quickly followed them.

"Wait up, Ee-fah!" Awn-yah yelled and ran after her.

---

"Leave us" Lansel urged and Marius and Severus bowed and left.

"Peace is reigning" Dionysios stated.

"My plan is a success. I can now fully rule the Moon Realm" Lansel smirked.

"Ruling fits you. You'll make a good King" Dionysios patted his shoulder.

"Mr Angel!!!" Aoife yelled as she caught up Marius and Severus. Marius stiffened after hearing her voice. He instantly recognized her. That nuisance lady. He slowly turned to her to see her standing meters away. She was breathing heavily because of how far she ran. She looked neat and beautiful dressed in a silver dress and her maroon hair was neatly falling on her shoulders in curls.

A certain feeling stirred in Ee-fah's heart as she saw him staring at her. His face was hard and emotionless. Without thinking twice, she ran to him and jumped into his embrace.

"I missed you Mr Angel!"
