~What's going on?~
"I can't find her, it seems like she's missing" Neriah panicked as she told Dionysios. Dionysios' gaze hardened as it rained over Lansel to see him still having a conversation with Damien but it looks like none of them is enjoying the conversation.
"Let's search for her, secretly" Dionysios stated and the duo left.
He called his knight and shadow guard to help with the search. Neriah also called Lucretzia's attention. She's a witch and could easily trace her whereabouts.
"Shouldn't we let prince Lansel know?" Lucretzia suggested but Dionysios shook his head.
"It'll be disastrous if Lansel knows. No one would leave the realm alive" he replied. He knows his brother more than anyone and he knows Lansel is capable of doing anything for anyone close to him, even if it means burning down the whole world, he'll do it.
"Let's check the path to the guest house one more time" Lucretzia suggested and they all left.
"Where could she be?" Neriah wondered. She felt really bad when she can't find Neev and she felt like something bad had happened to her.
"You go this way" Dionysios pointed at the opposite direction. His knight, shadow guard together with five royal soldiers left .
Lucretzia sensed Niamh's faint scent and she gasped.
"She's close" she stated and fastened her pace. She shut her eyes and followed the directions while Dionysios and Neriah trailed behind her. Here they are, standing in front of the flowing river.
Neriah sighted Neev's golden tiara and picked it up. "this is hers" she stated, tears welling up her eyes.
"That means she fell into the river?" Lucretzia asked.
"I have water powers, I can feel it if she's in the water" Neriah rushed her words. She crouched down, shut her eyes and dipped her hand into the river.
Neriah's incredible power surged, the water glowed and her hand turned the colour of water- blue.
Dionysios and Lucretzia exchanged glances and waited eagerly. But with Neriah's sigh, they knew the results.
"I can't feel her, it seems she isn't in the water" she stated soberly.
"Let's go back to the hall. We need to inform the Queen. The banquet is over" Dionysios hastily left.
"Mother, there's a problem" he whispered and the Queen gave him a cranky look.
"Lady Neev is missing. I hope you know what that means" he went straight to the point. Queen Diantha gasped.
"No..no..she... She can't be missing" she shook her head, breathing heavily.
"We're trying to find her. You don't need to worry" Dionysios added. The Queen shook her head, her breath coming out in shallow pants like she's having seizures. Dionysios' eyes widened. She's having an heart attack!! He shouldn't have told her that! He should have simply found an excuse to end the banquet!
"Eudocia, take the Queen to her Manor! You mustn't leave her side!" Dionysios urged. Eudocia bowed and teleported with the Queen.
Dionysios announced that the banquet is over because the Queen is tired. She's aged and needed some rest. The guest understood and agreed, so they all dispersed. In the meantime, the hall was cleared.
Lansel knew something was off. The Queen never acted this way during banquets. She's a strong woman, he knew. So why is she suddenly tired?
Dionysios was about leaving the hall when Lansel called out his name.
"Yes, brother" Dionysios answered, ever so calmly.
"What's going on? What's wrong with mother?" Ha asked, his gaze was piercing and intense as it pierced through Dionysios' soul. Dionysios didn't say anything. Instead, he only stared back at him calmly. His blue eyes were serene, reflecting nothing but a calm blue sea giving no hint to Lansel.
"What's going on?"
