~Fit to be a goddess~
Niamh was sitting on her bed, quietly and patiently waiting for Neriah to arrive. She discovered that it's almost two days since she last saw the princess, she'd missed her company.
Almost immediately, the door opened and Niamh sprang her feet up, smiling thinking it was Neriah. But her smile died down at the sight of the... What?! The Queen Mother!! What the hell is she doing here?!
Niamh felt her palms becoming sweaty as beads of perspiration stood out on her forehead.
Queen Diantha's face was a cold blank mask which made Niamh panick even more. Every step she takes felt like a ticking bomb as she strode towards Neev.
Niamh curtsied in respect.
Queen Diantha stood in front of Neev without saying anything. Neev felt extremely nervous as her heart palpitated. She could swear that in her entire life, she'd never been this nervous.
Was it because she's the Queen? Or because she's Lansel's mother?
After a short awkward silence, Niamh saw the Queen raising her right hand and she subconsciously shut her eyes tight. Her heart was beating crazily as if a hammer was inside her chest.
She was expecting a heavy and hot slap on her cheek but rather, she felt a warm and soft hand cup her left cheek and she slowly opened her eyes to see the Queen smiling at her.
Her mind left her body for a while.
The Queen wore a beautiful smile on her already beautiful and gorgeous face. Like she looked really stunning and young to be called a mother of three adult kids.
"What's your name, dear?" Queen Diantha asked with her beautiful smile showing her perfect pearly white teeth.
"N... Neev Your Grace" Niamh stuttered.
Queen Diantha felt something stir in her heart as she heard Niamh's soft angelic voice rang in her ears.
The fact that Niamh is the goddess, the thought alone made her heart explode with euphoria. The sincere apprehension is that she's really impressed with Niamh's beauty and innocent attitude.
'She's really fit to be a goddess' Queen Diantha thought and chuckled softly.
"Beautiful" she complimented as she caressed her cheeks and Niamh felt herself relaxing a bit.
"Thank you, Your Grace" Niamh bowed.
"Mother, please. Call me mother"
Niamh gaped at the Queen's words. She thought she didn't hear her correctly but when the Queen repeated what she said, she forgot to breath.
"You're welcome to the Moon Realm. Feel free to walk around" the Queen added and Niamh almost jumped in happiness.
First, the Queen cupped her cheeks, complimented her beauty, asked her to call her 'mother' and now, she's completely welcomed in the Moon Realm. She's just too happy.
"Thank you, Your... Sorry Mother" Niamh bowed, beaming with smiles.
"My pleasure, I'll take my leave. Come to my Manor when you need to see me" the Queen smiled back.
"Sure, I will.... Mother"
Not too long when she left, Neriah came to see her.
It was already evening when prince Lansel and the trio returned from their mission and it was a perfect success. They'd captured all the demons that sneaked into the Moon Realm and sealed the walls of the entire Moon Realm- that includes the four Cities of Precious Stones.
They're currently walking in the large hallway leading to the throne room to report to the Queen.
"Hmm.. someone is walking closer to my brother" prince Dionysios stated, a thin mischievous smile dancing across his lips and Lucretzia snapped her head to look at him. She knows he's referring to her.
"Can't you just let me be in peace?!" She snapped and Dionysios chuckled softly.
I never mentioned your name. Sadly, you're guilty"
"Don't get on my nerves, Mr Calm prince" Lucretzia gritted.
"Ay, pretty witch with a luscious body" Dionysios winked at her, a wicked smile appeared on his lips.
Lucretzia went tongue-tied for a while, somehow her heart skipped a beat. What the hell is happening to her!?
"Goodness gracious, I love the view of you blushing. You look overly cute" Dionysios continued to tease her, enjoying her every expression.
"You!" Lucretzia attempted to change at him but Dionysios went invisible.
"Pffft hahahaha" he laughed making Lucretzia fume.
Lansel only smirked, enjoying the little drama.
Niamh sighed softly, she's really bored, staying indoors and only reading books. She wanted to go out but remembering Lansel's strict warnings, she didn't have the heart to disobey him.
Thinking about him alone, she suddenly missed him, strangely. Yeah, she only saw him in the morning and that's all.
Where could he be? Is he alright? She suddenly felt restless imagining the prince being in danger.
No, he's powerful, he can protect himself. Her subconscious mind comforted.
But what was that feeling? What did she miss him too much? When she's supposed to be missing her family.
As if he got her telepathy, Lansel gracefully walked in. For some reasons, just seeing him there, standing made her heart skip a beat.
What! Why the hell was that?!!
