Chapter 36 - Chapter Thirty Six

~Love for Nature~

Then, the sun is setting.

The sky bleeds red as the sun creeps the horizon like a silent murderer. The red flickers and spreads as it reflected on the lake behind Lansel's manor.

The light danced over the air, the light breeze hit Neev's face, blowing away the silver strands of hair away from her face. Her peach flare gown also flew backwards, towards the direction of the wind.

Her silver eyes twinkled in admiration as the stars came by and her heart was drunk with the beauty that comes high. She's hardly breathing, mesmerized by the overwhelming view and she suddenly smiled.

Lansel stared at her from behind, the way her hair and dress flew, she looked like a fallen angel, or maybe a goddess. She's a beauty of porcelain perfection, a living painting in the canvas of the night. And the way she stared up at the sky, it's like she's totally out of the world. She's so gone.

"Is it that beautiful?" Neev heard Lansel's voice from behind, that's when she remembered that someone is there with her and she turned to him.

Lansel was sitting behind her, leaning on the elevated part of the roof, with one leg straight and the other was folded so his knee was up in the air with his wrist resting on top of it. His eyes were shut as if he was meditating or something.

The view of him sitting there, on the rooftop was just jaw dropping. She felt like she needed to rub her eyes and pinch her cheeks to make sure she wasn't imagining things. But she knew that even her wildest imaginations couldn't come up with a scene like this one.

Lansel slowly opened his eyes, his indescribably dark thick long lashes rested on his lids. His dazzling sea green eyes was calm as a green sea with no waves or storms, just serene and exuding all the sexiness in the world without him even trying, which caused Neev's heart to pound even harder.

She could not take her eyes off him; no, she didn't want to take her eyes off him and miss out this spectacular image. He's undoubtedly the sexiest man she'd ever seen- not like she'd seen any sexy man before. The point is no one can compare to Lansel.

Lansel's lips curved up to a side, forming a smirk, adding sexiness to his already gorgeous face as they quietly stared at each other for a long while without saying anything. It seems Neev even forgot he asked a question.

"It's twilight" Lansel pointed, breaking through her thoughts which caused her to gasp. She turned scarlet in embarrassment and slowly turned to watch the sky.

Dim twilight fluttered in the sky as purple beams of light illuminated the sky. Bewildering shades of pink and purple hues added beauty to the already breathtaking sky that Niamh couldn't help but to gape at it. It's just an indescribably beautiful gloss.

All of a sudden, tears began to roll down her cheeks and she smiled sniffing.

"Are you crying?" Lansel was standing behind her as he whispered into her ears, electrocuting her nerves that almost made her breathless.

"It's just too beautiful" Niamh whispered back and sniffled.

Lansel stood upright and gazed at her in disbelief. Like she's crying over the beauty of nature!

"You're unbelievable, silver cat" Lansel shook his head repeatedly. Niamh turned to him with puffed cheeks.

"And you just don't know how to appreciate the beauty of nature!" She retorted, furrowing her brows, trying to look serious. Her expression only made the latter amused as he let out a soft chuckle.

"I can only appreciate one beauty in the world, silver cat"

Niamh's frown deepened, giving him a quizzical stare.

"You don't need to know, not yet" Lansel answered her unasked question and say down where and how he sat, previously.

"Wouldn't you join me and sit?" He asked, raising a brow at her.

Niamh gulped down nothing and joined him. She sat beside him, her legs straight. Lansel smirked and slipped his hand around her waist and effortlessly pulled her closer to him. Niamh felt sparks all over her body and her heart was beating erratically as if a hammer was inside her chest.

Lansel didn't withdraw his hand from her waist. Instead, he lazily draped it around her leaving her almost breathless.

She wanted to focus on watching the sky but... sitting beside Lansel, his hand around her was taking her to an entirely different level. Like this is a lifetime experience that she won't forget not even after she leaves the Moon Realm.

"Don't doze off, Silver Cat. You haven't had supper" his voice was hoarse as he whispered sexily. It seems Neev's heart won't calm down a bit if she's with him.

"I won't" was her short reply. And together, they watched the twilight. Stars after stars they came. The light grew thicker, unheeded. And after that, the dark.

"Let's take a tour to the capital" Lansel suggested and Niamh nodded, excitedly.

Niamh was extremely mesmerized to see how beautiful the capital looked at night. Golden lights filled everywhere. She could see how busy everywhere is. Large and tall buildings stood out in the breathtaking night, all adorned with golden lights. The banners of the Moon Realm was hanged in every corner of the city. She could swear that in her entire life, she haven't seen a city this beautiful.

Lansel was deeply pleased to see her excited. At least, she won't think about leaving the Moon Realm now. At least, not yet. To double her excitement, Lansel asked her to take whatever she fancy in the cities' market, he'll pay for it.

After having loads of fun, they went back to the palace. The duo had their supper in Lansel's manor. It didn't take long for Niamh to doze off. It seems she's very much exhausted after the tour.

Lansel was truly surprised seeing how fast she slept. The Silver Cat is truly full of wonders.

He picked her up in a bridal style and teleported to her room. He gently placed her on the cast bed, so gently and slowly not to disturb her sleep. He moved back a little to get her maids but Neev pulled him by the neck. Her eyes were still shut for she's still in her sleep.

Lansel stiffened, their faces was just inches apart and their warm breaths mixed together. Never in his life had he been this close to a lady like this, this intimate.

Niamh mumbled in her sleep

"Don't leave, Damsel"
