CH 15 - A TEST OF KNOWLEDGE
Chapter 15
"My name is RUDHIR RAICHAND," Rudhir said, his deep voice echoing through the class.
As soon as he finished speaking, the students began to gossip and whisper to each other. "Hey, do you know who this RUDHIR RAICHAND is?" a girl asked, her eyes wide with excitement.
"Yeah, I've heard of him," another girl replied. "He's known as RUDHIR THE RUTHLESS, but also kind. And oh my gosh, have you seen how handsome he is? I need him in my life!"
A boy in the back rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right, like he'd ever choose you," he said with a snort.
The girl shot back, "And why wouldn't he choose me? I'm smart, beautiful, and talented. I'm the perfect package!"
Another student chimed in, "But don't you think you're being a bit too confident? I mean, have you seen your face in the mirror lately? Why would he choose you over anyone else?"
The girl huffed, "Exactly! That's what I'm saying. He'd choose me because I'm the best. And if he doesn't, then he's missing out!"
The argument continued to escalate until the teacher, MS. GEETASHA ARORA, said, "Silence, and Mr. RUDHIR RAICHANT, so you are the one the whole college is talking about. You're the one who replaced the principal, so you're that person who eliminates anyone in your way, right?"
The teacher, MS. GEETASHA ARORA, said, although you saved ROSHNI, don't think you have the right to argue with teachers or the principal. Please don't make a bad example. If you have that much money, go help others.
Rudhir smiled and said, "Mr. Teacher, you are misunderstanding me. I am that kind of man, but I don't want to correct you, so whatever you want to think, think." He said piercingly with black red eyes.
The teacher said, "Mr. RUDHIR RAICHAND, mark my words. I know you have the power to transfer me, but if you don't, it doesn't matter. If you come to class late, you are a student here, and you have to follow the rules. I am not like other teachers who are afraid of you, but I don't..."
The Rudhir smiled and said, "Of course, I can see you're different, MS. GEETASHA ARORA."
The teacher, on the other hand, looked surprised and shocked and said, "How do you know my name? You weren't in class when I told the students my name, so how?"
The Rudhir smiled and said, "It doesn't matter, teacher. Anyway, I know I'm late, so I'm sorry for being late. Now can I sit in the class? You know, mam, time is ticking, and in 20 minutes, your class will end. You know, so can we continue the class?"
The Rudhir started walking towards the seat without receiving permission from MS. GEETASHA.
Just as he was about to sit, MS. GEETASHA said, "Stop! Not that easy! You're late, so you tell the answer to my first question, or if your answer is wrong, U have to leave the class."
The Rudhir smiled and said, "Of course, you may ask anything, mam. But one girl who liked Rudhir stood up and said, "But mam, you didn't even teach anything yet, so why do you expect a student to answer your question? This is just unfair!"
The teacher looked at the girl with an angry face and said, "Shut up and sit down! No one asked you. Don't yes your teachers!" And then she smiled and said, "And Rudhir already agreed. Now, what kind of man is he if he doesn't fulfill his words?"
The Rudhir smiled and said, "Indeed, I am a man of my words, mam. You can ask anything."
The smiled nodded and said, "OK, now tell me, what is the MAURYA DYNASTY, and who was its first emperor?" She smiled when she asked the question because she knew he couldn't answer it. It was a third-year history book question, and no one in the class could answer it. She laughed slowly and said, "If you didn't answer, you can leave the class..." She couldn't complete her words when Rudhir interrupted and said, "CHANDRAGUPTA. And he (died c. 297 BCE, Shravanbelagola, India) was the founder of The MAURYAN DYNASTY (reigned c. 321–c. 297 BCE) and the first emperor. He smiled and answered.
On the other hand, the teacher looked shocked and looked at him with widened eyes, thinking, "How can he answer it? He didn't cheat; then how can a first-year student answer a third-year student's question?" But her thoughts were interrupted when Rudhir said, "So can I sit now? I know I have told the right answer, didn't I?"
And he sat on the last fourth bench, sitting two benches away from ROSHNI. Then he said, "So now can you continue the class, mam?"
The teacher came out of her senses and coughed a few times, saying, "Ah, good! I think you are not totally useless and have a good brain, but I am really shocked you can answer this, Rudhir." Rudhir just smiled and said, "Thank you, MS. GEETASHA mam."
Everyone was looking at him with a shocked but satisfied expression. Then the teacher said, "Alright, students, let's continue our class. Open your history books chapter 1!"
