CH 21 - THE NEW PRINCIPAL
Chapter 21
Rudhir and the peon walked towards the principal's office, every person in the college looking at Rudhir with awe and shocked, jealous expressions. The news had already leaked, and everyone knew that Rudhir had replaced the principal for his own benefit. He had replaced him because he could make his life easy in college, and with the principal's backing, nobody dared to mess with him. Everyone thought like that, but Rudhir couldn't care less about people's thoughts. He didn't give a fu** about people's opinions; he only focused on his life.
They approached the principal's office door, then the peon knocked and said, "Madam Principal, Rudhir is here." A voice heard in their ears, a feminine, sweet voice, said, "Come in, Rudhir. Enter the principal's office." He saw a beautiful, not old, not young, middle-aged woman, like 35 years old, sitting on the chair. Her long black eyes and long brown hair caught his attention. She was wearing a white top and black jeans. When she saw Rudhir, she stood up and said, "Hello, hello, Mr. Rudhir. I hope I didn't disturb you. Please sit here." Rudhir nodded and sat on the chair, then asked, "Yes?"
A female smiled and introduced herself, "Hello, Mr. Rudhir. My name is Jyoti Ruhela. I am assigned to this principal seat because of you and Mr. Vikram. I humbly want to thank you for this opportunity." Rudhir nodded and said, "Ms. Jyoti, I am glad you are here, but remember, I am here as a student. You can't talk to me like this, as if I am your boss or something. I don't want any attention; then I already gained, so please behave with me like every student. Just don't make my life tough." Ms. Jyoti smiled and said, "Of course, Rudhir. I also don't want people to think that I am your guardian or something and giving you special treatment. This is not good for my career also."
Rudhir nodded, and then Ms. Jyoti smiled and said, "Although I can't give you any special treatment in public, I can help you in any way if you need my help. Just call me; this is my personal number. It's the least I can do for you. You are the first person I received this job from; if you didn't help me gain this position, I would certainly be working as a teacher in a different college. Thank you, Rudhir, once again."
Then, she handed over a paper with her number written on it. Rudhir picked up the paper, slipped it into his pocket, and said, "Thank you, Principal. I think I should leave now." The Principal nodded, and then he stood up and started walking towards the door.
He approached the door but suddenly stopped, turned towards the Principal, and said, "Principal, I think you can do something for me." The Principal nodded and said, "Tell me, Rudhir, what can I do for you?" Rudhir replied, "I want details about one student."
The Principal asked, "Student, tell me her name, and I will certainly find about her." Rudhir said, "ROSHNI MEHRA. I want to know all about her - where she was born, where she is living before coming to collage, where she worked, everything about her." The Principal nodded and said, "Okay, I will find out about her, and then I will tell you."
Rudhir nodded and said, "I hope you work fast!"
