Sheila felt a slight relief when Sophia smiled, and Ethan, seeing his sister's smile, nodded approvingly for them to continue with her treatment.
"Let's start with a general review of Sophia's vital signs," Sheila said as she put on gloves and took Sophia's medical history.
"I need a full analysis of her blood pressure, heart rate, and blood oxygen level."
A nurse quickly began taking the measurements while Sheila reviewed the previous data.
"Now, connect the electrocardiogram monitor and prepare an intravenous line," Sheila continued, watching Sophia closely.
The team worked in very good synchrony, following Sheila's orders without questioning them.
"We are going to administer a saline solution to keep her hydrated and stabilize her system," Sheila explained.
"Then, we'll start the treatment to reduce cortisol levels."
Sheila approached Sophia and patted her on the shoulder.
